Quiver he/him Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 What would be your pitch to get people to listen to "Writing Excuses"?
Delightful Posted July 7, 2015 Author Posted July 7, 2015 I mean I'm a little out of it cause I havent been listening to this season. But something like "four authors talk about writing and it's awesome and informative and funny." Not so smooth, but there you have it. So Quiv, which starter pokemon did you choose?
Seonid he/him Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Hmm...I'd recommend starting with the book Resident Mad Scientist. Off it still didn't grab you, then different strokes for different folks I guess

Seonid he/him Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Yep, although libraries should have the print copy too
Joe ST he/him Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 You know what I think everyone should read? it's a book called Hearth (amazon .uk) and it is EXCELLENT an I think you should check it out yessss
Delightful Posted July 7, 2015 Author Posted July 7, 2015 (edited) Joe, it was really weird to have you edit the formatting in my other post. Especially because on mobile I can't see you're a mod so I was like 'whaaat how did he do that what is this sorcery?' Anyway. Have you guys read Partials? Probably my favourite teen dystopia and definitely my favourite love triangle resolution. Oh and also If I Fall by Lauren Oliver. Fantastic book. Edited July 7, 2015 by Delightful

It's just like, you have sneaky post-editing superpowers.
Joe ST he/him Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 that I do I used to have far too much fun as the secret moderator on the chat when that was still a fun place to be
Joe ST he/him Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 I just had the power to do things, it was fun to be in secret and pop out when things were doing things and having fun and yeah the powear
Quiver he/him Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 Why Delightful? Seriously; I've seen (and done) plenty of the jokes about it being "delightful" to see you. I'm just curious why you chose that as a username. 1

Delightful Posted July 8, 2015 Author Posted July 8, 2015 (edited) Uuh honestly there wasn't much thought to it. I stared at the screen for a moment trying to think of a name that didn't really say anything about me and the word just popped into my head. It's sort of kind of vaguely similar to my actual name, so maybe that's why? Also: I, rather naively, didn't consider the pun potential. *sigh*. (And you punsters I hear you say "but you are delightful!" Well too bad I just pre-empted you ) Edited July 8, 2015 by Delightful

There's the Internet lady I told you about! De light-full one!" 2
