TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted April 9, 2015 Author Posted April 9, 2015 Am I the only one who pictures Twi with bright green hair, purple skin, and a pink and blue tail? With mismatched shoes? An anthropomorphic version of the Funtimes pony... no thanks, I saw Equestria Girls already. Now I kind of hope none of you ever see me IRL. I have the feeling you'd be terribly disappointed. 1
Kobold King he/him Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Now I kind of hope none of you ever see me IRL. I have the feeling you'd be terribly disappointed. You have your own fem!Fourth Doctor costume. Somehow I don't think any of us would be disappointed. 2
Edgedancer he/him Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Hey, that's my power! Then I just need to create more Epic. Now I kind of hope none of you ever see me IRL. I have the feeling you'd be terribly disappointed. I think not having pink skin could be considered an improvement. 2
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted April 9, 2015 Author Posted April 9, 2015 Then I just need to create more Epic. Can you create one who always knows exactly what events should be included in a flashback sequence? Because I could use his help. 1

Edgedancer he/him Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Can you create one who always knows exactly what events should be included in a flashback sequence? Because I could use his help. Of course, everything for you. Naturally I would need to know all these flashback events first. 1

Jo and the Bush all/any Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Random side note, the attack on Corpsemaker didn't really go anywhere yet, did it? Also, what power-set did we actually settle on for Corpsemaker now? Yeah, I still need to write up a response to that. Sorry for being so inactive lately. I blame MLP. And I don't actually remember what we decided on Corpsemaker's Canon-defying Power canceling abilities.

And I don't actually remember what we decided on Corpsemaker's Canon-defying Power canceling abilities. It's not like anyone is actually waiting on you at this point, so no blame on you. Just the mind-corrupting evil that is MLP. I think we settled on instead of him negating the powers directly he's negating the stuff that's hitting him, so enemy Epics can still use their powers just fine but it makes him essentially an unmoving object, no matter what hits him. Not sure, if we decided on it also forming some kind of mind shield against mental illusions. Although, I don't think anyone is actually going to force that on you. Jo and the Bush all/any Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Well in-game we've had several people mention seeing the real Altermind at the bank. ( I think so at least, but i can't find the scenes anymore.) So Corpsemaker's immunity would affect illusions.
Edgedancer he/him Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 I hope Lightward does not have that bad of a temper. Am I the only one that finds this statement hilarious? Well in-game we've had several people mention seeing the real Altermind at the bank. ( I think so at least, but i can't find the scenes anymore.) So Corpsemaker's immunity would affect illusions. The fix would only make Corpsemaker immune to the illusions though, so I'm not sure how much of a fix that would be. The most in-game retcon free way may be to simply let Corpsemaker keep his powers, just to make him a bit more special. Otherwise we would probably end with a lot of stuff that needs fixing. The colaboration with Lockvault, the Adventurer, Brightdeath and the Metal is nearing its end, so if anyone is interested in a meeting with any of them, the time to talk is approaching.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted April 9, 2015 Author Posted April 9, 2015 Am I the only one that finds this statement hilarious? Not at all. It's on par with "I hope Lucentia likes people." 2
Edgedancer he/him Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Not at all. It's on par with "I hope Lucentia likes people." But Lucentia does like people, if they pamper her. Or if they are heads. 2
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted April 9, 2015 Author Posted April 9, 2015 But Lucentia does like people, if they pamper her. Or if they are heads. That's like saying "Lightwards doesn't have much of a temper when he's asleep." 1
Kobold King he/him Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 That's like saying "Lightwards doesn't have much of a temper when he's asleep." Your statement inexplicably makes me wonder whether Lightwards could accidentally deliver mental commands to his Warriors while dreaming. 2
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted April 9, 2015 Author Posted April 9, 2015 Your statement inexplicably makes me wonder whether Lightwards could accidentally deliver mental commands to his Warriors while dreaming. "Warriors! Battle formations! Chocolate syrup at the ready! We are going to defeat this eighty-foot living statue of President Lincoln if it's the last thing we do!" 1
Kobold King he/him Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 "Warriors! Battle formations! Chocolate syrup at the ready! Let's not make our "crazy dream example" something that could plausibly happen in Oregon's current political climate. 1
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted April 9, 2015 Author Posted April 9, 2015 Let's not make our "crazy dream example" something that could plausibly happen in Oregon's current political climate. Good point. Though just about anything is fair game in Oregon's current political climate. 1
Edgedancer he/him Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 And then Lightwards conquered Portland in his sleep. 3
Kobold King he/him Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 And then Lightwards conquered Portland in his sleep. This potentially makes him the one Epic that Sandman can't handle with ease. 1
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted April 9, 2015 Author Posted April 9, 2015 This potentially makes him the one Epic that Sandman can't handle with ease. Though Lightwards would be somewhat confused and slightly embarrassed when he awoke to find a Warrior standing beside his bed, telling him Portland was theirs and that he'd "readied the Justin Bieber music and pink balloons for the victory celebration, just like you said." 2

Though Lightwards would be somewhat confused and slightly embarrassed when he awoke to find a Warrior standing beside his bed, telling him Portland was theirs and that he'd "readied the Justin Bieber music and pink balloons for the victory celebration, just like you said." And Cardinal always ridiculed the terapists that wanted to do dream therapy with him. 1
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted April 9, 2015 Author Posted April 9, 2015 And Cardinal always ridiculed the terapists that wanted to do dream therapy with him. Now I'm imagining Sandman as a dream therapist, leading Lightwards through a dream that looks and sounds exactly like our favorite video. 2
Fatebreaker he/him Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 This potentially makes him the one Epic that Sandman can't handle with ease. Unless Sandman altered the dream so that it was one of those dreams where you're suddenly not wearing pants, and then made the statue turn into a giant Funtimes who was laughing at him. Writing this, it occurs to me how much more quickly Lightward's mental state would decay if Sandman made a habit of messing with his dreams. Nightmares of Mobius EVERY NIGHT. Whoa, if Sandman confronts an epic with one of their weaknesses in a dream, would they lose their powers? Or would they just think they lost their powers, telling Sandman what their weaknesses were? 1
Voidus Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 For the record I look exactly like you'd expect someone who spends all day making new Epics: Very pale and usually hunched over my laptop. 2
