I don't believe it for a second. You were looking at the total wrong gender till recently! You'll find someone. If no one has visited your profile, go hunt them down.  Casually mention something to a coworker and see if they know anyone. Go to events and meet people. You're awesome. Anyone would be lucky to have you. You sure make the Shard* a brighter place.

My point is twi, that...No-one is "meant" to be single. However hard the road may be, however many failed connections, no matter how many time you feel ignored and unloved. This may take a long time, or a you might even meet that someone tomorrow!

And I don't think Comp Partner's is a good app, perhaps use something that alot more people use? Like eHarmony or something?

Thanks.  Still….it's like, I've been mostly single since I was old enough to date, so it's getting to the point where I'm not even sure I know how to date. :/

eHarmony is straight couples only, and CP is their same-sex branch. Which is part of why I signed up, because I've used eHarmony before, and it worked well, even if not for me.

Thanks for sticking up for me, but just because I'm gay doesn't mean I can't find comfort in things written by and for straight people. Love is love, right? Besides, I can always embrace a headcanon where some of those beings were female-female or male-male hybrids, but the Greek gods decided not to mention them for publicity reasons.

Upstairs neighbors were quiet all night, so I actually got some sleep!  Which is good, because I was so tired I was almost crying. 

Though I think I've figured out what the noise was. See, I was woken up around 2:30 night before last by this intermittent banging, like someone knocking against the wall. I'm pretty sure the upstairs neighbors have at least two kids, because during the day I've heard what sounds like a game of tag, played indoors as all loud running games should be. Apparently. So, I think what happened was the kids woke up around 2:30, couldn't get back to sleep, and decided to try and communicate through the most irritating and ill-conceived imitation of Morse code ever.
