How is the format on it? Miles, state wide etc? Can you expand it a bit? I have it at 60 miles, though I could probably expand it. I'll give it a month, though. If nothing happens in that time, I'll pull the plug.
Briar King Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 That's actually wider then I thought. To much more and travel time could severely hamper going both ways. Good luck!
marsoupial they/them Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Don't give up hope, Twi! I'm sure there's a girlie out there just waiting for a fun book-loving pug-serving loving pretty-much-everything-loving girl like you! On an unrelated note, Breath of the Wild should be getting to me in the mail some time within the next 24 hours and I'm psyched.

Like what sleazy 50 year old calls a teenager they're trying to hit on. 2 hours ago, TwiLyghtSansSparkles said: Thanks, but I'm starting to wonder if maybe I'm just meant to be single. :/ I don't believe it for a second. You were looking at the total wrong gender till recently! You'll find someone. If no one has visited your profile, go hunt them down. Casually mention something to a coworker and see if they know anyone. Go to events and meet people. You're awesome. Anyone would be lucky to have you. You sure make the Shard* a brighter place. *that autocorrected to Asgard. Make of that what you will. 3

" Once it was a distinct kind, with a bodily shape and a name of its own, constituted by the union of the male and the female: but now only the word 'androgynous' is preserved, and that as a term of reproach. " There were three genders, for the sun, moon and earth. The sun for the primitive man. Earth for the primitive woman. And the Moon for the "Androgynous". Which, unlike how today the word is perceived, were 4 arms, 4 legged beings, with half a male face and half a female face. The humans at this time had great strength, and this threatened the Gods. Zeus answered by splitting the humans in half, and so doubling those who give tribute to the gods. These split humans... they lived in abject misery, lamenting the loss of their other half, their sorrow went so far to a point that Apollo stitched a few of them together. The primitive man and woman ended dying out, and we are descended from the split humans. (Gah, now ^ feels like I'm setting a guideline -_-) My point is twi, that...No-one is "meant" to be single. However hard the road may be, however many failed connections, no matter how many time you feel ignored and unloved. This may take a long time, or a you might even meet that someone tomorrow! There's someone waiting for out there, you just have to be patient We're here for you, *hug And I don't think Comp Partner's is a good app, perhaps use something that alot more people use? Like eHarmony or something? 1

Besides, I can always embrace a headcanon where some of those beings were female-female or male-male hybrids, but the Greek gods decided not to mention them for publicity reasons. 2

TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Upstairs neighbors were quiet all night, so I actually got some sleep! Which is good, because I was so tired I was almost crying. Though I think I've figured out what the noise was. See, I was woken up around 2:30 night before last by this intermittent banging, like someone knocking against the wall. I'm pretty sure the upstairs neighbors have at least two kids, because during the day I've heard what sounds like a game of tag, played indoors as all loud running games should be. Apparently. So, I think what happened was the kids woke up around 2:30, couldn't get back to sleep, and decided to try and communicate through the most irritating and ill-conceived imitation of Morse code ever. 1
