From the blog: http://brandonsanderson.com/three-stories-in-new-formats/

I'm excited about the maps, but then again, I just like maps. Maybe we'll get a little more info and understanding about how the Aons work with this too.

He also talks about the newly edited WoR and the standalone release of Shadows of Silence in the Forests of Hell.  I wonder if I'll have to purchase a new version of WoR or if my e-book will update itself...

The maps sounds awesome! No offense, but the original ones just weren't all that cool or detailed. These sound much more promising.

I couldn't agree more.  I'm just as excited about the Ars Arcanum, though.  All those Aons are hard to keep track of.  :)

Yes, that'll be great!

I feel that way even more about Warbreaker, dang, that map was dissappointing. Also, it's really weird seeing you with the Arrow profile Mailiw haha.

Ah yes, it was.

What, you like the ponies better? :P

I'm stoked. I'm hoping Nazh does a good job of collecting magic info, particularly tidbits we didn't know before. Though the Aon list at the back of my current copy of Elantris is nice, it's nothing like an Ars Arcanum.

I'm also looking forward to Nazh complain about how dangerous it was to get to Sel, assuming he uses the Cognitive Realm to hop.

It's been awhile since I've read Elantris, so I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on a copy of the 10th Anniversary!

With that, what parts of the book do we think he's changed? He makes some cryptic references to questions in the past, but doesn't explicitly say what he changes relative to the changes he notes for WoR.

I'm glad I heard about this, I was just about to replace my copy of Elantris....I guess I should hold onto it a little longer!

Soooo pumped! Elantris was the book that got me hooked, so I can think of no better way to celebrate my tenth anniversary of reading Brandon's books :).

Also, the fact that I have been reading his books for ten years kind of freaks me out. I haven't done anything for ten years.

Okay so Amazon already has a page for this with some more information.

Release date is October 6, 2015 (the same day as Shadows of Self actually).

It will include a foreword by Dan Wells (who was the first to read the completed book) as well as an afterword from Brandon.

"The Hope of Elantris" will also be included, and the Ars Arcanum will include "more of the technical details of the book's magic that fans can never get enough of."

It's also worth pointing out that this is something that Tor has only done once before, with Ender's Game.
