I'm still upset that you killed him.  :(  He was so... lovable? Tolerable?

Apparently Mr. Meh elicits even more sympathy from our readers than Pamela Tithers and the Sadry's combined.:P

This actually makes me wonder if there is a High Epic somewhere whose worst fear is boredom.

There used to be one, then I changed the Metal's weakness into something that worked better mechanically.

I pointed this out in the thread mentioned but there was an error in his calculation of Epics with a PI, it would be more like 3000 than 300 in the country so I think we're doing pretty well with keeping up the ratios thanks to a certain someone providing dozens of canon fodder Epics without PIs :P

Yeah, if anything this brings us back to the Dalles having way to few Epics in town.

Did you hear that, Voidus? I think that was destiny calling.

Really? I thought it was established Dalles canon screaming as it was annihilated. Could just be me, though. :P

We've been operating under the assumption that all the Epics in The Dalles work for the City Guard, but should we adapt the setting so that unaligned Epics are permitted to live in the city provided they follow its laws?

You remember the discussion about where all the Epics went? Let's just say that even with its city guard they don't quite reach Enforcement levels.

I found a video that I must share for worldbuilding purposes.

This is what ordering coffee in San Francisco, Portland, and Seattle can be like. (Except in Starbucks, but true coffee lovers just skip them anyway.)

Well, now it seems they deserve to be destroyed. :P

It seems we missed a lot of opportunities by killing off Mocha Maxima so quickly.:lol:

I suddenly want to write someone destroying a coffee shop. That's real?

No, it's just an exaggerated take on how fancy the baristas in those cities can get.

Another shall rise in her place. Behold, THE SHIRTLESS BARISTA!!!!!

….maybe he needs a new name?

I don't think so. It's descriptive, after all. :P

I don't know how to use the comic creator.

The link's here. Like with many things, the best way to learn how to use it is to load it up and explore it. I can answer specific questions you might have. :)

Well, Florist was a thing.  Speaking of, are you still planning on Deathwish coming to recruit Florist for a bit?

I can still do that, if you want to haul Florist into the action.

I would prefer to have a reasonable reason to pull him out of his home, and I think that would be the best way to do it.

I'll be working on... something for the next few days, await my return with a hundred or so new Epics :P

Out of curiosity, does Scribbler apply her own tattoos, or does she go to a tattoo artist somewhere in The Dalles?

A bit of both, I figured even with mirrors, trying to do it onto her back would be pretty difficult.

That's about what I figured.

Also, I ponified Scribbler but am having a devil of a time figuring out how to incorporate her text tattoos.:P

I made one a while ago but I had the same problem.

Mine's bubblegum pink all over, but I like yours better. :D

Her parents are still alive after all the retcons, right? Because I was rereading some of her first posts earlier, and it mentions her waving goodbye to them as she rushed out the door.

Yeah they're still alive, I thought an Epic with living parents might be interesting to write so hopefully they'll feature more later since I don't have any Vanilla characters.
