Voidus Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Someone involved in the MEE attack on Thoughttown maybe? I don't think I have anyone active waiting for a post, they're just waiting around for a fight atm. I'm waiting for one of your characters in the Dalles thread. That could be it, I'll try to get a post up soon. 1
Queen Elsa Steelheart she/her Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 I don't think I have anyone active waiting for a post, they're just waiting around for a fight atm. That could be it, I'll try to get a post up soon. Okay. Thanks
Edgedancer he/him Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Many different things although she does not know how to make everything. Thing is, if it can be hygroscopic it could also be flamable, exsplosive, corrosive and a lot of things that aren't apparent from the description you've given, so I would like to know some limits here.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted March 8, 2015 Author Posted March 8, 2015 Oh! Winter, if you're still looking for characters to ponify, Katniss and other Hunger Games characters don't have ponies yet. Nor do Vivenna, Siri, Blushweaver, or almost any other character in Warbreaker that isn't Lightsong. (Nor does the gin-fueled monkey, but as there is not a monkey creator that is a moot point.)
Kobold King he/him Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Sorry guys. Due to a mix-up I've gotta redo a lot of the work I've done over the past week. So I may or may not get a chance to do any of that posting I so optimistically proclaimed yesterday. Again, sorry. I'm really going to try to get something up soon.

Voidus Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Thing is, if it can be hygroscopic it could also be flamable, exsplosive, corrosive and a lot of things that aren't apparent from the description you've given, so I would like to know some limits here. Fire and explosives both require chemical reactions, as do acids. Being hydrophilic and storing water can be done purely structurally at an atomic level. If it could become explosive, flammable or corrosive I'd have a great many questions on it, that would require turning the light into functioning molecules.
Kobold King he/him Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 We forgive you Kobold, you bring us enough joy. No need to apologize. Life happens. Thanks. I'm finally done for today, so maybe I'll get something written this evening. Also, Voidus! You're a pony again!
Voidus Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Thanks. I'm finally done for today, so maybe I'll get something written this evening. Also, Voidus! You're a pony again! I thought my red, spiked visage might get a little disconcerting after a while 3
Kobold King he/him Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 I thought my red, spiked visage might get a little disconcerting after a while You would be correct in that assessment.
Voidus Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 I'm still not sure why I decided to use Soulswitch as my avatar when he's been a pretty minor character at best Ah well, he looks cool so I'll keep it. 2
mail-mi he/him Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Does anyone need one of my characters to do something? I haven't written in forever
Curiosity he/him Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Hey Voidus, I'm impressed with the Adventurer. The way this guy thinks is so well done, but sort of creepy, like he can't stop playing the game. Quick question: Will we see the day the Koschei dies? I'm super interested in that! And Altermind's weakness is keeping me on the edge of my seat! At least when I get around to reading this stuff. This quarter is busy... 4

Well, I'd like to hear what guesses you have about his weakness, if you want to PM me. But you'll likely have to wait a while for a final answer.

This quarter is busy... Thanks I'm trying to balance the reality and the fantasy for him to keep him functional but creepy so good to know it seems to be working. I also really want to see Koschei's death, I think if he were still around Nighthound would have some pretty firm competition for the coveted spot of 'person everyone wishes was dead the most', although Timeports certainly doing his best
Edgedancer he/him Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 (edited) Fire and explosives both require chemical reactions, as do acids. Being hydrophilic and storing water can be done purely structurally at an atomic level. If it could become explosive, flammable or corrosive I'd have a great many questions on it, that would require turning the light into functioning molecules. There's a diferrence but she can go from not absorbing any water to sucking it out of textiles, which is more than just making it change from hard to soft to liquid ect. So, assuming that it can't be reactive seems like it's asking for misunderstandings to occur, which is why I asked for limits. After Winter gave some proper limits, we can talk about whether or not they make sense. Edited March 9, 2015 by Edgedancer 1

I have Koschei's death scene planned out in my head, and although I keep revising it, the basics remain the same.
Voidus Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 I only just noticed the tags on this thread...Well played Twi, well played 2
Edgedancer he/him Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 I only just noticed the tags on this thread... Well played Twi, well played Took ya long enough. You guys remember the weird series I talked about recently? Now excuse me while I go watch the anime adaptation of the part, were a grown creeper uses his shadow to turn grown men into little children, so he can slaughter them with his ax on the orders of the main antagonist. 1

Is...is the main antagonist Nighthound, and does he happen to be drunk and/or strung out on multiple illegal substances? 2
Kobold King he/him Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Is...is the main antagonist Nighthound, and does he happen to be drunk and/or strung out on multiple illegal substances? No. There's an axe involved, which means clearly the antagonist is Timeport. 2
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted March 9, 2015 Author Posted March 9, 2015 No. There's an axe involved, which means clearly the antagonist is Timeport. Timeport is obviously the one wielding the ax, but the plan itself has "wasted Nighthound" written all over it. 1
Edgedancer he/him Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Is...is the main antagonist Nighthound, and does he happen to be drunk and/or strung out on multiple illegal substances? The antagonist is a a bit over 100 years old vampire and not a nice guy. You know the kind that promises a woman not to hurt her baby, if she becomes his undead servant, turns her and then watches as she eats her own child. 1
