There is a very long much included topic on the topic of the ideal cast for the Mistborn movie. For fun, Think what it would take for you to take a pass on going to see it. What would it take to make it the stinker that the movie for Eragon was?

In case you missed me saying it the first four times this list is a joke, and I shuddered several times typing it out. don't take it seriously...

Breeze Jonah Hill     Clubs Kris Kristopherson   Demoux Jason Stathum   Dockson Jason Lee   Elend Venture Channing Tattum   Hammond Dave Bautista   Kar Dewayne Johnson   Kelsier Ben Afleck   Lord Ruler Tom Cruise   Mare Cameran Diaz   Marsh Keanau Reeves   Reen Zac Effron   Sazed Christopher Walken   Shan Elariel Rebel Wilson   Spook Shia Labouf   Straff Venture Jeff Bridges   Teven Renoux Christopher Lambert   Vin Kristen Stewart

Zane played by Justin Beiber. "shudders"

It's like "How can we possibly make people hate this character even more then they already do? Oh, oh god what have we done!?"

I don't know. Kill them.

I tried imagining who a clueless Hollywood filmmaker would think is perfect for the role of Kelsier, and I immediately thought of Johnny Depp. *shudders*

Alright Depp fans, I admit, Johnny Depp might be an okay Kelsier, but not a great one pleasedontkillme.

Eh, given Depps diversity he would only really suit Hoid. But he would be a mistake as i doubt he would be OK with such a minor role in several different movies.

And... now all I am ever going to hear when I read Hoid's dialogue is Captain Jack Sparrow.

Thanks guys.

Samuel L Jackson as Hoid.

I think the worst casting would be Miley Cyrus post-13332-0-31422100-1422897652_thumb.j playing the Part of Vin and Will Farrell post-13332-0-46072800-1422897651_thumb.j playing Elend.....

Straff Venture = Christopher Walkin, Kelsier = Gary Busey, Elend = Michael Sera, Ham = Seth Rogan, Breeze = Danny McBride, Dockson = Jim Carey, Clubs = Jerry Stiller, Spook = Taylor Lautner, Vin = Abigail Breslin, The Lord Ruler = Jeff Goldbloom

Hoid should probably be played by me...

I don't know what you talking hoidhunter. Jeff Golblum is the PERFECT choice for the Lord Ruler. And Kelsier. And Elend, and Vin, and Marsh, and Sazed, and Spook....

you're right, M Night and Michael Bay would be the worst

"Really, Michael? You filled the entire movie with explosions, again!"

"Yes. And...?"

"Look at this scene. Vin Steelpushes against a chariot, and the chariot explodes. With fire. That doesn't even make sense!"

"We directors need not make sense."

I think the true nightmare would be casting Arnold Schwarzenegger as everyone. Including the extras. Especially the extras.

And in the post-credits scene, Hoid dramatically turns to the camera and utters "I'll be back" in a thick German accent. Then he turns and stalks away.

And Kobold just ruined the cosmere

I was more thinking how surreal the mass execution scene from the first book would be. Arnold Schwarzenegger looking on as Arnold Schwarzenegger executes an endless stream of Arnold Schwarzeneggers, as Arnold Schwarzenegger gives a passionate speech to a group of Arnold Schwarzeneggers about how they have to fight back.

Somehow, kandra's ability to disguise themselves as other people doesn't seem nearly as impressive. :P
