Um...... Idk

Who were the musketeers really?

Posted

Athos

Portos

Aramis

and d'Artagnan

is that what you were asking?

If not, the musketeers were a military company eventually tasked with the protection of the French kings when those were all named Louis, made up mostly of noble's younger sons who had little chance of inheriting.

Also, in general, a soldier armed with a musket.

WOLIT, name all 5 Sheens (hint: not all of them are named Sheen)

I can't get five but these are what I can get:

Martin Sheen

Charlie Sheen

Emilio Estevez (for some reason, my brain is telling me he's a Sheen, but I could well be wrong, though the fact you mentioned that not all of them will have the last name Sheen leads me to think I'm right...)

Emilio Estevez is a Sheen!

Anyone watching movies in the 80's knows this, you have to be a certain age (cough).

Just so you're aware, you're not supposed to google until the stipulations are met.

Chrysallis, Tirek, King Sombra, Flim, and Flam.

Name all the Digimons' forms for the eight original digidestined, from Rookie stage to Ultimate stage. (3 each, 24 total)

THIS is madness. I don't know if anyone will be able to get an answer off the top of their heads!

I mean, I know it. I'll give you some of the hardest ones, as they don't get used much:

Garoudamon

Lillymon

MagnaAngemon

That still leaves 21 others though.

Posted

You name 3... none of which are the only one I don't know.

I don't know whether to be annoyed, or compliment you.

Posted (edited)

Well, it's been a couple of days so here's the answer:

Agumon -> Greymon -> MetalGreymon

Gabumon -> Garurumon -> WereGarurumon

Palmon -> Togemon -> Lilymon

Biyomon -> Birdramon -> Garoudamon

Tentomon -> Kabuterimon -> MegaKabuterimon

Gomamon -> Ikakumon -> Zudomon

Patamon -> Angemon -> MagnaAngemon

Salamon -> Gatomon -> Angewomon

I suspect the other hard ones that I hadn't already given were Salamon and Zudomon.

I'll stay on Digimon for one more question, as a celebration of the 15 year anniversary of the anime.

Name all the digivolutions for the 6 digidestined in season 2 of the anime corresponding to the following ranks: Armor, Champion, and DNA (plus the DNA digivolutions and form changes). This amounts to 21 total digimon.

For reference, here's the Rookies:

Veemon

Armadillomon

Hawkmon

Wormmon

Patamon

Salamon

Hint: Two of your answers were answers to the previous question.

How convenient, guess what I rewatched recently? :P. Bonus evolutions included!

Veemon - Flamedramon (Courage), Raidramon (Friendship), Magnamon (Golden), Ex-Veemon, Paildramon (with Stingmon), Imperialdramon (Dragon Mode), Imperialdramon (Fighting Mode), Imperialdramon (Paladin Mode)

Armadillomon - Digmon (Power Knowledge), Submarimon (Reliability), Ankylomon, Shankuamon (with Angemon)

Hawkmon - Halsemon (Love), Shurimon (Sincerity), Aquilamon, Silphymon (with Gatomon)

Wormmon - Stingmon, Paildramon (with Ex-Veemon), Imperialdramon (Dragon Mode), Imperialdramon (Fighting Mode), Imperialdramon (Paladin Mode)

Patamon - Pegasusmon (Hope), Angemon, Shankuamon (with Ankylomon), MagnaAangemon (Ultimate), Seraphimon (Mega, film)

Salamon - Gatamon, Nefertimon (Light, can Armour Digivolve from Gatamon instead of rookie), Silphymon (with Aquilamon), Angewomon (Ultimate), Magnadramon (Mega, film)

I suspect the hardest for people to remember are Imperialdramon's Paladin mode, and Magnamon. There is also an Armour Digivolution for Wormmon using the Crest of Kindness, but it was never used in the show. In the card game (had to look this up as I haven't seen the cards in decades) and other media, it digiviolves him to Puchiemon.

So, my question, back on a bit of a Magic thing if that's okay.

Name 7 cards which allow you to instantly win a duel of Magic, either when played or due to a condition being met, and what that condition is. Note that the duel stipulation means that I will also accept cards which cause an opponent to lose the game.

I did this thing more detailed but lost it all and so I cannot be bothered to make it more detailed. If you want to know what it does google it.

AMULET OF QUOZ

AZOR'S ELOCUTORS

BARREN GLORY

BATTLE OF WITS

CELESTIAL CONVERGENCE

FELIDAR SOVEREIGN (my favorite card )

LABORATORY MANIAC

um. Name 3 of each type of Pokemon, (18 types) from Generation VI

Should be easy If you watch XY or collect the cards. Evolutions of subsequent types don't count

Excellent! For note, it's not spelled Shankuamon, it's Shakoumon (pronounced Sh-uh-koo-oh-mon). Also, fun fact, Gatomon has a second Mega - Ophanimon.

um. Name 3 of each type of Pokemon, (18 types) from Generation VI

I was gonna ask if you wanted new Pokemon introduced in Gen VI or just new Pokemon the Kalos Dex, but as I thought about it I realized that there aren't three new Ground or Poison types, so you must just want the Kalos Dex.

Normal - Litleo, Pyroar, Fletchling

Grass - Chespin, Quilladin, Chesnaught

Fire - Fennekin, Braixen, Delphox

Water - Froakie, Frogadier, Greninja

Electric - Helioptile, Heliolisk, Dedenne

Flying - Talonflame, Hawlucha, Fletchinder

Ice - Aurorus, Bergmite, Avalugg

Ground - Diggersby, Zygarde, Mamoswine (there were only 2 new Ground types in Gen VI)

Rock - Tyrunt, Amaura, Aurorus

Bug - Scatterbug, Spewpa, Vivillion

Fighting - Pancham, Pangoro, Chesnaught

Poison - Skrelp, Dragalge, Weedle (there were only 2 new Poison types in Gen VI)

Psychic - Espurr, Meowstick, Delphox

Dark - Pangoro, Greninja, Inkay

Ghost - Pumpkaboo, Trevenant, Aegislash

Dragon - Goodra, Tyrantrum, Noivern

Steel - Klefki, Aegislash, Carbink

Fairy - Florges, Sylveon, Klefki

WLIU, Name the Gym badges from Gen I of Pokemon that Gary Oak, in the anime, did not get. if you recall, in the anime Gary taunts Ash for only getting 8 badges, when he had gotten 10. That said, of his ten, only a few matched any of the eight Ash got. This scene was very short, so I presume this is a very tough question. Good luck!

Hint: Two of the badges that do match up, removing them from the answers, are the Boulder and Cascade badges.

Also sorry to those regulars who don't partake much in these fandoms...

Damnation. I know one other badge that Gary didn't get, and I remember the meme about Gary getting two badges better than you... but I cannot remember what the other badges he scored looked like.

(For that matter, I doubt I could name the original eight gym badges anyway, but still..)

So yes, I agree this is a tough one. Whoever gets it,l let me know so I can award Infinite Sheldon some upvotes.

sorry but I said evolutions of subsequent types don't count.So only pokemon o different evolution chains.

Pyroar or Litleo on't count

Chespin or Chesnaught don't count

Fennekin or Braixen don't count

Helioptile or Helioslisk don't count

Fletchling or other evolutions don't count

and any other pokemon whose other evolutions are present there.

Sorry,but the reason I said no evolutions of subsequent types was because then people could just pick one pokemon and put it and it's evolutions into it's respective type area.

Oh and Legendary Pokemon count although you might have to consult your pokedex to see what types they are.

Oops, I missed that part because it was after the anime comment. I'll remove repeats too, and I've also used every new Kalos family prior to picking Pokemon of previous generations that happened to be in the Kalos Dex. My apologies. Here you go:

Normal - Litleo, Fletchling, Furfrou

Grass - Chesnaught, Gogoat, Venasaur

Fire - Delphox, Volcanion, Charizard

Water - Greninja, Clawitzer, Wailord

Electric - Helioptile, Dedenne, Pikachu

Flying - Hawlucha, Pidgeot, Honchkrow

Ice - Aurorus, Bergmite, Cryogonal

Ground - Diggersby, Zygarde, Mamoswine (there were only 2 new Ground types in Gen VI)

Rock - Tyrunt, Barbacle, Diancie

Bug - Scatterbug, Ariados, Scolipede

Fighting - Pancham, Mienfoo, Meditite

Poison - Skrelp, Shedinja, Weedle (there were only 2 new Poison types in Gen VI)

Psychic - Espurr, Hoopa, Mr. Mime

Dark - Inkay, Yveltal, Scrafty

Ghost - Pumpkaboo, Trevenant, Aegislash

Dragon - Goodra, Noivern, Kingdra

Steel - Klefki, Carbink, Aggron

Fairy - Florges, Sylveon, Aromatisse

To be honest, it was the non-Kalos Pokemon that were harder to come up with.

Anyways, since it's been the weekend, here's the answer to my question as well:

Full list of badges:

Boulder Badge

Cascade Badge

Thunder Badge

Rainbow Badge

Soul Badge

Marsh Badge

Volcano Badge

Earth Badge

The ones that Gary did not have:

Thunder Badge

Soul Badge

Marsh Badge

Volcano Badge

Earth Badge
