Wouldn't ketchup have to have gelatin in it to qualify as a jelly?

In either event, it matters not... for tomatoes are vegetables in the US since 1893, thanks to the landmark case Nix v. Hedden.

That's right. The United States Supreme Court ruled that tomatoes are a vegetable.

There's a state law out there that defines pi as 3.  That doesn't make it true. :P

They claim it was for purposes of commerce, but I think it was just because they wanted to be the ones who decided, once and for all, whether tomatoes were fruits or vegetables. <_<

Power over vegetables corrupts, and absolute power over vegetables corrupts absolutely. :P

I died five times today

That's really quite unfortunate. I've only died twice today. I count myself lucky. At least I don't have school. Then I would've died many more times. Especially in English.

Anyone else really, really into history? Like favorite subject, nerd, fanatic, whatever...?

...Are you an Epic? :o

We've been over this one.

Band was just awful tho. Like. It was so hot. I drank at least a liter and a half of water. Five people fainted. Another few threw up. The sidelines had a ton of kids on it. Mostly freshmen. Their first day outside marching and the weather decides "hello children its cooking time"

"Knowledge is knowing that tomatoes are a fruit. Wisdom is not putting them in a fruit salad."

Ketchup is a smoothie

Like, tomato juice you could maybe make an argument for.

We Aussies call it tomato SAUCE for a reason. If it's a sauce it can't be smoothie. So there.

I only died twice today that's an improvement.

My heart stopped when my mother gave birth to me, I consider myself a zombie ever since.
