Her blindness is a game mechanic.

Seriously.

The different levels jump around across the time span of the story and you play as different people.  Anyone who has begun to have the red liquid/shibito blood/(its actual nature which is a huge spoiler) in their system gains the ability to see through the eyes of the zombies.  So it's stealth horror where you have to infer from what the zombies see where they are, whether it's safe to go somewhere, and so on.

When you're the blind girl, you only have their sight to work with.

And it's terrifying.

Quick! Remember Mollie and her shoes of greeting!

If you ever shoot a video of Mollie with a shoe, I'll officially have a Patronus thought for the dementor apocalypse.

Looks like I have a new goal.

Would I ever stop smiling? I think not. :D

Also, I found a comic that makes me totally rethink Moby Dick.

...Or at least, I would be totally rethinking Moby Dick if I didn't already feel this way about it.

Lark - this might be helpful depending on how your dad views gender and if this will start a separate argument, but you can show him that argument you had in the genders thread and how quickly the mods jumped in to make sure everything stayed civil.

"Look dad, the rules are great and are properly enforced! And I swear there's no black magic around, it's just a spambot!".........

Edit: speaking of which, there is a single spam thread in general Brandon discussion. It's not multiplying. It's just sitting there. Waiting.

It's making me nervous.

Hopefully. Ah well. He probably won't monitor mine as much, if any at all because it isn't my punishment but yeah.

I just worked for nine consecutive hours helping a pair of fellow churchgoers move their furniture from their old house to their new one.

The furniture was heavy, and the bottoms, though hidden from view, were intricately carved with elaborate swirls that made it impossible to get a good grip on.

And like I said, it was heavy.

Chair upon chair I stacked onto a U-Haul truck. Couch upon couch. End table upon end table. Shelf upon shelf. Bed upon bed. Coffee table upon coffee table.

Eventually I stopped seeing the furniture. It was as if the Sun beamed straight into my brain, showing me visions of... eternity. I saw Lucifer and all his angels cast down from Heaven. I saw the winds of time, the lives of peasants and emperors scattered upon it like mayflies before a tornado. I saw galaxies form and coagulate and spiral into the void. I saw the gates of Heaven on fire. I saw the entirety of Hell frozen into black ice. As I walked, zombie-like, furniture in my aching arms, I was briefly omniscient.

...Then they gave me a Gatorade and told me I was dehydrated and possibly a little bit heatstroked. They... were probably right.:P

Gatorade? That does nothing. Why did they give you that? Why not water?

Well I'm not heatstroked any more, so it has to have done something, right?

Coconut water is a much better recovery drink. It's hydrating, and it has enough nutrients to make you feel better quickly. Except that Mollie and I are the only two in this house who like it, while everyone else says it tastes like feet, so you might not want it. #hipsterproblems :P

I had a bottle of Gatorade and then a bottle of cranberry-flavored water, so I was ultimately fine.

BLESSED ARE THE MEEK, FOR WHEN THE STARS ARE DEAD THEY SHALL INHERIT THE NEW EARTH.

Like I said. Ultimately fine.:P

Sucking down two breakfast shakes *probably* wasn't a good Idea. Also, the girl of my dreams was at church today. :D Also, my mother has decided she wants to call me "Chester."

EDIT: Also...

What are electrolytes? Do you even know what that means?

If I just wait and do nothing, somebody will probably post an explanation of electrolytes.

My brother has no idea how to turn off the bathroom light.

Is the light switch broken?

No ?

Turn off the storming light.
