Is it the large jumps that corner you? If he jumps, try running under him to get closer to the center.

Plus trying more attempts can help, just getting used to the controls and how the boss moves.

Yeah, it’s the jumps. I switched the keybinds to involve the mouse as the attack, so I don’t know if that changes anything

I get how mods can be scary, but you really don't need to worry. Even if you did accidentally do something against forum policy, we'll let you know, but we know when things are accidents, and you won't get punished for double posting or something. You're only likely to get banned/temp banned if you repeatedly break rules after being told off, or major code of conduct violations

LewsTherinTelescope became mod (again) near the end of my time on the shard but they seem pretty chill. Notice they engage with book discussions more. 

Tbh so many of the newer sharders are petrified of seeing a name in red or blue. It's kinda funny.

on the forums at the very least. I know rasarr does the AoN stuff. And every mod comes around to deliver the roundhouse kick to the spam bots every once in a while. 

but if you haven't seen the discord it might be confusing why there's seemingly a lot of inactive mods.

It makes sense, since older sharders are more likely to have interacted with mods more and realized we aren't scary. And since a bunch of mods are more active on the Discord, those on the discord also don't find us nearly as scary xD

They're all active on the discord, that's why (as Aeoryi said). The discord has much more chatter and active members, so most of the mods are primarily active there. (Though many used to be active here when most of the activity/discussion was on the forums) 
And yeah, Rasarr does the AoN distribution, and Chaos and Ene are on here some as well. Though whenever someone sends a report, all the mods get alerted, and whenever we do moderation we do it as a staff team, so a bunch of mods will look at things
