I mean unless ur not actually what you said you are (based on what you've said, you are in either in high school or younger.) Oh I wasn't asking for your age. I'm 99% percent sure that you're older than me

Idk why. Ur probably in HS tho tbh.

Untraditional student and your like 30-40 2. Traditional student (this is what Iâm thinking) 18-22 3. Your like sixty and goin to college again for free (I doubt this) butttttt then I think you might be between 13-17 just bc the way you type and your just pulling out legs

You mean like slang? Like tuff? I know how to use the internet but sometimes it's better to hear it from a local/native speaker or the genalpha/genz tongue. Which gen is 15? I know the age range depends on who you ask. Also not everyone follows the stereotypesl/what ppl usually are like/do. Case in point: Lily (me). Yes, I am sixty. Sixty seven. Idk why, but some memes I like and some I despise. Luckily, "brainrot," "sigma," and "skibidi" don't seem as prevalent on this platform (*phew*). Aeoryi she/her Posted January 30 Posted January 30 9 minutes ago, Usseewa said: Huh? Why y'all think I'm so youngggg Okay here's the list 1. You mention parents and that they have a pretty big impact on your life. 2. People who hang out a lot on the shard tend to be between 13-21 3. It'd be kinda weird considering a lot of the people here are in high school if an adult (of significantly greater age) was interacting with them especially in a very personal way  1

That would make me a Creep (go listen to that song too). Anyway I'm still not tellin' but I'm not super old so dw 'bout that part. I'm not a 400 LB man named Chuck who lives in his mom's basement ('tis a reference.) I just realized that I haven't heard many people use the "living in your mom's basement" insult anymore. Either it fell out of favor or I've just not been in very toxic communities Probably the latter.. Yeah, I know the parents thing is trippy. 1

Yeah, I know the parents thing is trippy. yeah the big selling points on you being a younger folk tends to just boil down to how chronically you are on the shard and in general how you interact with people who are (presumably) younger than you. Not to mean this in a mean way, but in general it just... would seem kinda weird that you'd go to us for advice if we were quite a fair bit younger than you. Also, your insistence on not using PMs and also the status updates are... definitely something. Edited January 30 by Aeoryi

Kinda. (aside from you all) Abt being older [than]...? That's one thing. Also that just means I'm older than u. (jk it doesn't, but it's a sign.) Also for slang, I pick it up from y'all. I always start out being like "ok, I'ma use perfect grammer and spelling and not fall victim to the local slang..." and we all know how well that turns out. But 'tis fine. At least it makes me more...wtw...relatable? Belonging? Like if I was typing like [unnamed user], then...I would probably sound like a stuffy academic. Not that I amn't. Aeoryi she/her Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Also if I really wanted to bring it up child psychology indicates you're probably in adolescence, which is okay, but as long as you're over the age of 13, you're probably welcome in this community.

Tbf, I don't wanna go to a place with more toxicity (*cough* Reddit *cough* Discord *cough*) and this place is, like, pretty friendly. Moreso than another platform I've been on. And that was aimed toward kids. That would be like saying that toxic communities exist on Invision-based Software Forums and therefore the shard is toxic too. Yes, the bad parts of any platform is going to be awful. That's just how everything is. But they're platforms that support isolated communities. For example, some of the best communities I've been a part of have been on discord, but at the same time I've also been in some pretty terrible places on discord too. To say that one platform, one service, one website is awful is making a harmful generalization that will only hurt yourself.

I agree with it. I don't like when someone, say, likes my blog post rather than commenting on it. Same with posts. I've actually said this before. Yeah, I see what you mean (I know a few ppl who do this.) I'm still probably not as young as you think though. I just... it's just that basically the only places I interact with ppl on the Shard is this thread and my SUs (and blog i guess, but ppl dont rlly comment often.) I also reply to the occasional thread or SU, and have some side convos. And forum games (word game and guess that cosmere character). So i guess i kinda do, but not a lot. I don't think I've had the same experience regarding queer people, but I can see that. But guys please don't see me as a kid I rlly don't like that. And I'm not. Like I'm not in any RPs but that's also my fault. I also don't have as much time to commit to it.
