"Hmm, not that long ag-"

The usual chaos of Gendoria City’s magical aura suddenly turns stagnant. For a moment, everyone nearby simply stops. They don't freeze in time; they just forget who they are for a heartbeat, their features slackening as a wave of pure, unadulterated egolessness washes over the area. It’s an uncomfortable, profound absence of self that leaves people clutching their heads a second later, trying to remember their names, their pronouns, their very essence. This place has become a focal point of the Shards agony. This isn't the Shard forcing actions, but rather their core concept of self-annihilation overwhelming the local reality. A voice, simultaneously vast and terrifyingly lonely, echoes inside their awareness—a raw, emotional broadcast of the Shard's current struggle: "This... this is the Void. The truth of Transcendence... The horror is the loss. The complete erasure of 'I'." The Shard's voice gains a sudden, desperate clarity, latching onto a single thought that burns brighter than any other it can perceive: "But there is one who lives within the nothingness. One who is an empty canvas, yet remains a singular 'she'—unclaimed by identity, yet not destroyed by the lack of it." A focused image is pressed into their collective consciousness: a deceptively plain woman, blending perfectly into the crowd, observing everything with an intense curiosity, but wearing no mask the Shard can recognize. Just quiet observance. "She hides in the lack of a label, in the quiet spaces of Moc where she claims no identity at all. A scholar, a data collector... they call her Cricket in other places. Find her. Her understanding of the 'empty vessel' might be the only way to anchor me before I erase everything."

[ooh nice]

Ujyo blinks, snapping himself out of the strange vision-like trance. "What in the name of Order.." He trails off, shocked beyond comprehension.

He stands up, staring off into space before muttering something about leaving.

And then he walks through the wall, still holding the teacup.

[cackles in kleptomaniac]

Ujyo is already gone and does not hear Riaale. It does not occur to him that he probably should've given the teacup back until he's already around the corner.

[Hey everyone! I've been pretty inactive here, despite my Ookla name, so I'm gonna try and fix that.

Few things to mention first

@Ookla The Kintsukuroi, @Ookla the Knight, @Ookla the Perpetually Disc,  I'm just going to assume your characters all leave the cave with Emma and Isabel, (it's hard to organize this stuff when there's 6 of us) as it'll lead into my next scene, and leave the cave alone with Coder, which leads into his scene.

Speaking of which, @Ookla the Dokja, feel free to start the scene we discussed in PMs.

With that said, I'll get into character]

Emma looks tired, and sits down without saying a word. Looking down at her mostly defeminized body and sighing, she takes out her injectable estrogen, and puts it into her arm.

After a few moments, she says to herself "Hate when I have to do that. HRT works on me faster than most people, but it'll still take months before I'm back to nor-"

She stops, as if she heard something.

"No. Not you. Surely you wouldn't dare, right?"

Coder looks around and makes sure everyone is gone. "He is still here, yes?" Coder asked into the cave. "I have a proposition for Him."

"I have a way to kill Possibility. It... will be harder, now that my goals have changed, but at some level, The Blank Page was right. The Certified are, at some level, evil beings for stealing their certification. However, my powers are far weaker without a backer. I would like to be your Vessel out in the world, trying to kill more certified with the help of your power, in exchange for me killing Possibility. Whether or not you agree, I will still try and return his Certification from you, no matter what it takes." Coder tells Him.

[How interesting, you want to make a deal with a more powerful being to follow their will and gain power. Almost like a contract, or a sponsorship. Curious.]

You smell something good bad strange painful  null

"You intrigue me, distinct oneI shall agree to this deal, as you, unlike that pawn you hosted in your body, have not used your wish. The benefit I would gain is payment enough. However, you will only be given one year to succeed. Otherwise, the pawn's deal will be initiated instead."

Air moves around you

"I smell IdentityWe suppose it was too much to hope that she would not take action for what we are doing. Do not concern yourself, however. This should not impede your task."

It is unclear what happens next.

"You are empowered. The nature of this power is not easy to understand, but somehow, we think you are well-suited for it. Possibility was always a strange oneMy curse bears a strange similarity to their domain.
