The Identity Lock that keeps magic separate was melting away, and she knew exactly why. That specific taste of static in the air... that scent of ozone and forgotten names. She had smelled it years ago, long before the world went mad. "Aris," she whispered, the name feeling like a sin on her tongue. Others were shouting, panicked as their own powers began to bleed and fluctuate, but stood still. No one else knew. To the rest of Moc, Transcendance was just a faceless, terrifying force. They didn't know that the God causing this collapse was a person who used to be reclusive, kind, and desperately afraid of their own shadow. "It’s not just a glitch in the magic," she called out, her voice trembling with a mix of fear and recognition. "The Shard of Transcendance is being piloted by someone who doesn't want to exist anymore. If they complete their ritual, the concept of Individual dies with them. We won't just lose our powers; we'll lose the ability to tell our souls apart." She started to walk outside but her own features beginning to blur and shift into Aris’s likeness. "I know how to find them. But I need you to stay close—keep reminding me who I am. Because where we’re going, I is a word that's being erased."
