The Queer Tales of Moc

[Hmmm lies she/her]

In a universe that somewhat resembles the Cosmere, but is certainly not the Cosmere, lies a planet called Moc. No one entirely knows why, but pretty much everyone is queer there. If you're wondering how this works, it just does.

Throughout this universe, the Certified are the most powerful, embodying either abstract concepts or queer identities. They were once mere Disasters, but claimed a Certificate and claimed their status (they're like Shards basically). Most, but not all, reside on Moc, and no one really knows how many there really are.

In this world, a lot of queer people have magic powers. Some of them are related to their queer identities, some aren't. It's just a thing.

Our RP takes place in Gendoria City, the capital city of Gendoria (so creative I know), where you can find just about anything you can imagine. Although, some of you might decide to venture to their cave, to get your wishes granted. Whatever you decide to do, I'm sure it'll be an exciting tale.

This isn't a super serious RP, so don't worry too much about stuff, do whatever the heck you want so long as it's fun and within the rules.

• While you may make as many mortal characters as you want, there are some specific rules about Certified characters, which are detailed in the sign-up thread:
• Obviously, follow all 17th Shard rules
• Try to RP with someone. I'd recommend either putting like "(Looking for interaction)" in your post, or planning it out in PMs.

Trans lesbian

She is weak normally, however, she can take estrogen to become more powerful. However, if she uses too much to fuel her powers, her transition will reverse, which she does not want to happen. (Note, please do not take extreme doses of estrogen in real life. This won't grant you superpowers, nor is it a good idea in general)

She has a transdermal HRT patch on her at all times, to ensure she has a constant intake, and has other forms for emergencies. 

Emma is (at the beginning of the RP) currently traveling the world, as she is unsure what she wants to do with her life. She's probably just arrived at whatever the specific setting of our RP is.

The embodiment of self-knowledge and individuality. 

Disaster: Lady Selia, She/Her

She is more well known as Selia than Identity, as she prefers to be called by her true name. She dislikes being worshipped, but tolerates it, as she finds that it is better for the world at large if she can better exhibit her powers. No organized religion towards her exists, rather, every single worshipper chooses their own way to worship her. Selia is on bad terms with many of the other Certified, though she likes Acceptance and Support.

He can change how he look (shapeshifting like) but not drastically. Depending on how he presents it gives him powers.

 

Masc presenting- he has super strength and superspeed. Can also Persuade but less likely to work 

 

androgynous presenting- they are mainly androgynous. Here they have INSANE stealth skills and speed, not as fast as masc but still faster then your stereotypical human. These are less of powers and more of skills. 

 

fem presenting- she can Persuade people. Which is like a rioter or soother. She can also use a mist that can not only make people look different but also like an illusion and stuff.

When someone prays to acceptance they mostly do it with the goal of some form of acceptance. Whether it is self acceptance, acceptance from others. This can be for anything.

Neo was a young boy who struggled with being accepted. He kept getting pushed out. He finally reached a place where he was accepted.

Coder has (somewhat) successfully split his damaged awakened state (The Blank Page) and his normal undamaged state (Coder) and as a result, has a split personality disorder, except the 2 personalities are still the same person, and he is aware of both, even though his personality can drastically shift based on what role he is playing. When acting as The Blank Page, he wears a blindfold and different clothing.

Disaster: Your Mistakes

Name of Certified: Possibility

pronouns: He/Them

History:

Your Mistakes wasn’t his original name, but he has long forgotten it.

Before he obtained his certificate, he preferred he/him pronouns, and was a writer. He wasn’t a good one, but he loved creating worlds from nothing, and loved reading even more than writing.

When he obtained his certificate, he became Possibility. All who create or observe worlds are protected under them. They liked they more when acting as a Certificated, but preferred him more when on a more personal level.

They are well known by the people, and daydreamers, creators, or readers know of him. However, there is one being who he cherishes. Coder was blessed with the eye of possibility, or the origin of unique worlds. This is what gives Coder his powers, and forges a special link to Possibility that allows them to commune.

When Coder acts as Possibility’s messenger, he takes on the alias of The Blank Page, and only lets a select few know of his alias.

They are well known by the people, and daydreamers, creators, or readers know of him. They know of him as the God of fiction, but only some worship him as members of The Blind Eye.

Possibility is the god of The Church of The Blind Eye (Also Known As The Blind Eye), which is a cult group that intends to bring an apocalypse of fiction upon the world.

Not much is known about The Blind Eye to the general public, and most don't even know it exists, or that Possibility is affiliated with it. Those who do know of it don't know much, and mostly only know that Possibility is it's god, The Blank Page is it's leader, and each member has a mysterious power.

Only Coder calls Possibility by the name ‘Your Mistakes’ or refers to him as he.

Ve channels power to Echo, who became zir Disaster two years ago and, following the pattern of Evolution's Disasters, will probably only be so for a couple more years. Echo can wield Evolution's power and tries to guide people where they can, but is fairly inexperienced. They're doing their best!

It has no name, and he can not be referred to with anything other than a pronoun. They live in a cave far from civilization, where xe strikes deals with mortals, granting them her blessings

No one knows what she is, but there are rumors. Rumors that they were something the Disasters took their Certificates from. The Certified have never commented on this.

 

He is widely feared, yet many take the journey, as she provides gifts that no one else could.

 

(Run by @Hmmm lies. Feel free to journey to their cave, as all sorts of interesting plots could stem from such an event. She's kinda like the Nightwatcher from Stormlight, thought not quite the same)

Emma has been traveling the world for some time. She isn't quite sure what her purpose is in life. She's hoping she'll find it on her pilgrimage.

Right now, however, she needs to restock on HRT. And the easiest place to get that has always Eggopia. It's been years since she's last visited, however, and who knows what has changed since then. (Probably a lot, based on the name of the country.

 

Emma enters the city, and begins her search for HRT, asking around about what the best way to get it is these days.

Jynx wasn’t in eggopia, jynx was in theris. They were one of those people who was probably supposed to be watched by police but no one could find a reason why. Most people thought their presence was off putting and creepy. (The amount of time spent in the back alleys and sketchy neighborhoods probably didnt help.) there were a few people though who didn’t mind their off putting demeanor. This included their best friend and well… one of their only friends, Charlie.

*Isabel gasps and then pauses for a second thinking* “do you drain estrogen to perform such feats?” She says “if so do it again it give me a second” she says this second part with a grin and then concentrates for a second and when Emma jumps again she feels an extra tingle and sees Isabel slightly glowing pink and then jumps twice as high. “But yah Transfem makes sure we always have enough although we don’t with us now so if you come back to the headquarters at the end of the day we can hook you up with as much estrogen as you could ever need”

Charlie knocked on the door of the room Jynx was in. At least they though Jynx was there. They adjusted the sword on their back (cause why not) and waited for the door to open.

jynx opened the door peaking out. When they saw charlie they grinned. "Hey char!! Come on in!" They opened the door. The room was as dull as usual. The basic furniture and whatnot. On the coffee table was some research. They loved researching things. Just to know and plan and scheme. It was another reason why people found them strange.
