If the NK was trying to route us into exeing people Doc listed as a rival, wouldn't the natural thing be to read those folks as village instead? Or are you saying that would be a poor plan for the elims to try?

TwinStorm He/Him Posted October 6, 2025 Posted October 6, 2025 Rane sat in the crow's nest lamely, watching the spores churn. He was getting old, but had been at sea a long time, and was agile enough to scramble up the rigging here. The murder . . . it haunted him. Unfounded accusations were being thrown around, but the killers were still hidden. Nothing was obvious. Nothing was as it seemed. By rote, he slipped out a pouch roseite spores. A lucky charm. To protect him. Unconsciously, he opened the bag, and stared at the shimmering pink mass, before spitting in it and scrambling back. The outgrowth of spores was . . . beautiful. Shockingly beautiful. The crystal sphere. It was beautiful. Rane smiled, a tear in his eye, though he did not know why.

Murder. Murder by creatures of Midnight Essence, no less. She had seemed so eager, so ready to learn . . . and she had died for it. Now others stood, pointing fingers, shouting, demanding justice. Rane would have none of it. She was dead. It was all useless anyway. He stood up, to grab a sip of water, nearly forgetting the spores in his cabin. He cursed silently. This murder had affected him in more ways than one. But maybe . . . maybe he could find the murderer, and seek justice. It was a faint hope, but worth it. Maybe he could try. And that's all that mattered. Second day, and I don't think poke votes are all that odd. I don't normally do them regardless, but we functionally only have a single point of information: the kill. Speaking of TwinStorm, a three stack that quick is odd. I'm kinda v!leaning BelOh for following a train here. I think a newbie elim would be less inclined to vote, especially considering his low post count, and if he was coached, I would expect them to say to not follow someone. As for if it's v or e!indicative on Twinstorm, I'm not sure. I kinda don't like the third vote leaving so soon after it got this high. Could be distancing, but I also think the elim team would have suggested a side train by now if TwinStorm was e.

STINK he/him Posted October 6, 2025 Posted October 6, 2025 Roberto woke up. Maybe he had slept in too long again but so far he'd gotten away with it as long as he kept up with his other duties and maybe threw around a few compliments here and there to just about anyone who was inclined mind. Unfortunately however, today was not going to be one of those days when he left his room and was seeing everyone almost scurry about like something had happened, even though it was clear to him that nothing had happened because everything was going to be fine and normal. It then really served as more of a surprise than it should have been that during breakfast at least one person suddenly turned to the other and accused them of murder? During breakfast of all times? Truly, nothing was sacred in this place. Roberto thought on this for maybe two seconds before realising that clearly this was the new hot social game that the crew sometimes like to play during a voyage, and clearly everyone must participate, so the next move of his was obvious. "Shifter!" There, now back to breakfast and somehow avoid any looks he might receive while enjoying his lovely breakfast, this new cook really is something. ---------------------------- Hoid Slayer There ya go you get the RP vote and the OOC vote but I don't think that counts as two votes it's really just one so don't worry too much about that.
