After watching TV for a couple hours, which he could somehow do despite having no face, he decided to get to work on the papers the receptionist gave to him.

He got up, stretched and walked over to where he had laid them on the table. Surprisingly, they were gone. He looked around, and just caught a glimpse of them disappearing under the door. He froze for a second, then slowly walked over to the door and opened it.

Again, he just got a glimpse of it going up the stairs. He started to run after it, but stopped, rushed back and put on his face, then ran back out and up the stairs. This time he didn't care to clap, as it was faster to jump up 3 at a time.

He soon emerged into a small-ish room with a pool it it, and three women and an old man. 

"Uh, hi, have any of you seen any, uh, papers? Maybe on the ground?"

"The mountain?" She lowered herself further into the pool, but stopped with her shoulders above the water. Her long robe fanned out and drifted, revealing that it actually had two parts, first the robe itself in a deep teal, then dozens of strips and tendrils in all variety of bright colors connected at her neck. Both were made of a thin, flowy material that had apparently been somewhat stuck to itself while out of the water.

Dirutio turned around and watched them leave, making a mental note that, while talking, Pherid had still misspelled the word Dumb. And to find Ftrell later, to have a nice talk, if, of course, he could find a way to shut up that Pherid fellow.

You don't have to be concerned about room numbers, you can safely assume you'll be able to find a room if you're looking for it.

Edit: I was partially wrong, they do have numbers according to an earlier post. Just don't concern yourself too much with who should be nearby or far away according to them, I guess?

Any tips on how to deal with a single head at a time? Or is it some sort of bulk package, where you can only have both at once? And if I were to cut of Pherid's head, would 2 new Pherids grow back, or would 2 new head (with blank personalities) grow back?

The platypus jumped into the water (it was more of a hop, actually) and started swimming.
