Any tips on how to deal with a single head at a time? Or is it some sort of bulk package, where you can only have both at once? And if I were to cut of Pherid's head, would 2 new Pherids grow back, or would 2 new head (with blank personalities) grow back?

Aria suddenly wished she had a knife. If it started talking, she’d have to think long and hard about whether she’d fallen and hit her head while climbing the mountain. 

It did not, in fact, start talking. That would've been weird. It walked between her legs and started eating a worm it somehow found.

“Of course,” Aria muttered, standing. This all threw her off balance, but if he was here, he’d be having the same problems. She’d need to find him quickly, before he adjusted…and before he hurt someone innocent.
