Kevin blinks up from within his hood, sprawled awkwardly on the ground. He flinches as the liquid falls, but gives a loud squawk-like shout back. Spiders. Could be worse! I can eat those. Well. I can try?

He peers under the spider and can see a figure glinting with metal curled up on the floor nearby. He makes a mental note to check their breathing, then glances up with a start as he hears a voice. "Weird corner of the Premier Inn," it says casually. This is instantly followed by undead screaming. 

"The what?" Kevin shouts after the voice, slowly sitting up so as to not alarm the spiders.

Nomu jumps onto one of the clay zombie horses and tickles the zombie seated there. It falls off, and he lashes his makeshift grappling hook around the horse like a harness. “Im Nomu and, I dunno. I didn’t count. There are a lot of doors where I come from.” He rides the horse and tries to get it to kick the spider, but falls off instead.

ya im not expecting you to know the reference i literally just remember seeing a music video that had a lotta doors in it and thought what if I make that character an RP? (Premier Inn by Good Kid)

Nomu groans, not just because he has fallen off a horse, but also because of the silly jokes the newcomer has brought up. He gets slowly, ignoring the zombie chewing on his arm.

There is no “sucking at RPs”. There is only how much time you choose to invest in them. I tend to be very reactive on stuff like TLT and let characters flow naturally, other people take hours and respond to half a dozen people at once. It’s not a question of inherent value.

The spider takes a few steps closer, its feet clacking across the ground before stopping directly in front of Kevin. Its eyes flick side-to-side; it seems to sense his presence, but can’t tell where he is exactly. Slowly, pocket-like vestiges in its sides open up and hundreds of smaller spiders crawl out, dropping to the floor.

Nomu is sad. He considers whether this boy is a threat. He has recently remembered that he can’t talk, so he starts gesticulating wildly in unadept sign language. “Why. Did. You. Do. That?”
