Kevin blinks rapidly at the sudden onslaught of spiders and new people. He snaps his head back and forward, seeming shaking for a moment, before vanishing into his clothing and reforming as a pigeon. He quickly gobbled up some of the smaller spiders, then flaps over to Nomu and the boy, cawing with curiousity.

The boy's eyes flash. He signs back. "Yes I did. I don't like frogs. If I were you, I would not use that." He indicates the slingshot.

Nomu, angered by the petty murder of his close friend Froggy, when the boy could have simply handed him back, loads a pebble into his slingshot and fires. As soon as it hits the boy, due to reality bending to lyrical delivery, he is deconstructed into his base elemental components.

As one, all of the spider’s heads turn to face Kevin. They emit eerie hissing sounds as they scuttle towards him, leaving the floor as a charred blackness in their wake. The large spider screeches, the sound echoing for all the Door-Way to hear, and streamers of violet light start flowing off it.

Kevin flaps anxiously, morphing back into his human form in the grey hoodie. He holds his hands up in a sort of surrender, performing a nervous tap dance. "Uh oh. Um. Hello? I come in peace?" Stormit. I should've brought a weapon. Gotta diplomat out of this one now.

A puddle of sludge lies on the floor where the boy once was. Then it disappears. The boy reappears beside the spider. His eyes burn black, and claws extend from his fingers. With blurring speed, he practically teleports to Nomu and rakes his claws across his face.

The boy snarls up at Nomu. He shot a bolt of dark energy up at him, then turned his attention to the shapeshifter. “You were a bird, and I'm hungry! Change back!" He starts walking toward the shapeshifter, a dark aura radiating from his body.

Nomu stops making the silly face and silently works his magic. The floor suddenly emanates sickness around the boy, causing him to suddenly lose strength and health.

And it does absolutely nothing whatsoever, as this boy is an eldrich demon, many millennia old. Sickness does nothing to him.

Oh, hunger. Kevin exhales in relief. I can deal with that. He pulls a greasy, half-crushed box of mac'n'cheese out his pockets and offers it to the boy, giggling at Nomu's silly face. He also drops a sweet wrapper on the floor in an effort to appease the spiders.

Surprised, the boy takes it, opens it up, and stares at the contents. Seconds later  the entire thing, including the box, is gone, and the boy licks his fingers. "Thank you, shapeshifter. Why are these spiders angry at you?"

Kevin is relieved the boy has apparently stopped trying to eat him. "I'm not completely sure. I ate some of them, but I think they were trying to eat me first and I don't speak spider. How are you?"

The spiders appear completely oblivious of Nomu’s existence and remain perfectly unmoving as they wait for a response.
