Through The Living Ash he/him Posted January 16 Posted January 16 A group of a dozen or so people wearing dark cloaks and blindfolds bursts through one of the doors. They fan out, forming a circle. Erdikan exits the door last, striding forwards slowly. He extends a mottled grey hand, and a pulsing dark orb streaks out, flying around the room, before coming to a hover before the door that Taeidin and Erryin just went through. Frowning, Erdikan approaches the door, but finds it impossible to open. He extends one finger, pushing a faint stream of shadow through it, and runs it along the edge of the door. It makes a horrible gritting sound as the wood he traces starts to splinter, the door groaning in protest. @Keke this is relevant to you. 2

KaladinsSenseOfHumourSpren He/Him Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Unnamed walked through a door, and cursed when a realised the spider was still on his head. "The first Threadhopping spider," he muttered. He felt for his Connection to the other clones. Lines that only he could see sprang up from his chest. Five of them headed to one door, Battle for the Sandwich, and one to a different, unfamiliar door. @Through The Living Glass

He pulled out the Cyanobacteria card from Bios: Genesis. When used on macroorganisms, the red cube stolen is a sensory organ, so Unnamed uses it on the spiders to remove their sense of sight, and then triggers a double oxygen spike. As the home row is Door-Ways, everything in Door-Ways that can breathe suffers from hyperoxia for a few seconds. However, the vision loss only effects the Sydney Funnel Webs, as parasite attacks only work on one species. The brown recluse on Unnamed's head can still see.

The spiders, not needing to breathe, keep advancing on Unnamed using echolocation. Not that he could tell those specifics just from looking at them not stop after using the card. They also start glowing a sickly purple color.

Unnamed summons metabolic radiation from Bios: Megafauna to get rid of the spiders' echolocation magic! As one, the spiders halt in their tracks, staring forward with sightless, beady eyes. Then, as if by some silent agreement, they begin moving again, fanning out in all directions to search for Unnamed, though the majority crawl in the direction they were already traveling—towards him. As they move, Unnamed can see that the ground they pass over is left behind molten and crumbling.

KaladinsSenseOfHumourSpren He/Him Posted February 8 Posted February 8 A door opened, and a figure with a white metal-like thing in his left eye walked through. His other eye was Prismatic. Renamed felt for the Connection lines, and saw three leading back the way he came, and two more leading towards The Clearing. He felt again for Connection lines, this time weaker ones. Immediately, the number of lines exploded, but he was able to pick out one in particular. It leaded... to one of the doors in the floor. Renamed frowned, but knelt and opened it, before jumping through.
Ink and Embers Any pronouns Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Sup I'm dragging over my shapeshifting pigeon from Battle for the Sandwich. He's called Kevin. A hatch opens in the ceiling and what initially appears to be a large pile of crumpled clothing falls though and lands on the floor with an oof. A shortish figure in an oversized grey hoodie looks around, perched in a crouch. "Uh... hello?"

A single massive spider—with multiple smaller ones scuttling across its back—was standing intently before the BftS door, waiting, it seemed, for someone to arrive. As it slowly widens its mandibles, a bead of green liquid drops to the floor right next to the new arrival, sizzling as it makes contact.
