Okay, I have confirmed that everyone has received a PM, and I have double checked that the links in everyone's PM do in fact go to the correct Doc. I will be awake and available to answer questions for the next 90 minutes.

Happy Hunting!

Ekkar Loral was worried. For six years now, he had faithfully served as one of Elsecaller's closest priests. Yet now, he was suddenly forced to face the irrefutable fact that his goddess was dying. And it frightened him.

Ekkar had already contacted Evinir, but the man hadn't yet responded to him. The anticipation itched on Ekkar's nerves, slowly tearing away from him as he paced in the courtyard, awaiting the other priests. Awaiting answers.

Normally I like getting rid of Penguin. But I'm pretty sure that they've been exed D1 the past two games.

Evi. I liked your old profile picture more.

Well, he wasn't exed C1 last game, but he almost was.

I'm out right now, I'll be back in ~2 hours. Can't talk on my doc until then.

Hello everyone! This seems like the first time some of you have been in a Google Doc for SE, so I just wanted to explain a few general guidelines that most games tend to follow. This is meant to encourage people to talk, and to lower the barrier of anxiety, as well as get everyone on the same page. No one has done anything wrong.

  1. Near the top of each doc, there should be a list of names of who is in the doc. (Some GM's have people make their own list, I prefer to list exactly who is in each doc) When you enter a doc, change the color of your name. That color is what you will type in, so that everyone can quickly see who said what. Black is reserved for the Game Master.
  2. Generally, the doc will be split into sections. Try to keep your talking inside the current section. While we cannot prevent players from editing things said in previous cycle's sections, for general posterity, we try to save conversations. If there is a end of Doc line at the bottom of the doc, please do not delete or write below it. The End of Doc line is there so that people can easily hit enter to add more conversation space even while others are talking. Without this feature, it becomes far harder to write.
  3. Different people have different desires for doc set-ups. This is things like background color, line spacing, font, width, ect. While I do strongly recommend decorating your doc to make it easy to identify which doc you're in, I strongly encourage you all to listen to your Doc-mates about what they don't like. I for instance, have had to endure a games with Bright Yellow backgrounds that strain my eyes. Some people request that their doc-mates use a Dyslexia friendly font. Please just be nice to your doc mates.

Thank you all for playing, and have fun.

This is incredibly helpful, thank you.

Kosm is currently asleep. Or, at least, in their chamber. Don't bother trying to open the door or knock as it's triple locked and soundproof.

I am going to follow her example shortly, but first: Kelsier Apologist. I've always felt that Survivorists tend to be the selfish, murderous sorts.

Lharir sighed, wondering how Starseeker was managing without his priests as he wandered some far-off lands

But no time to dwell on the past when the future drew ever closer. Elsecaller the Careful was going to give up their Divine Breath. He was quite confused, as he'd been taught that Returned where immune to poison. But who was he to know?

(Sorry I’m late! I despise time zones)

Iggdraz had been around a while.
A long while.
His mind was beginning to fail him. He knew this, and accepted it even as he hated it.
He was still ashamed of the day he’d went about out of his wits, thinking he was a god in himself.
He clung to his idealism; civilization and life depended on working together, truth, and determination to improve.
He didn’t quite trust Ekkar. To call out a fellow priest for death, for no stated reason? Idiocy. Idiocy… or cunning.
The more accusations flying around, the harder it is to spot the logical ones, tho ones with proof.
War, while disturbingly logical, was an action that went against the compassion of the Hallandren people. Yet some were pushing for it anyway. He oppose them, do his best to stop them.
He was an idiot, a fool…

He was the best they had.

Admittedly, it has been some time since I read Warbreaker, but I think it still works, since it says most and not all.

Basically, since this is the first cycle, you don't have to worry about analyzing. You could even randomize your vote.

Just kidding. You always vote Polly on C1.

Who’s Polly?

Well As If, I'm sure everyone will say they liked your old nose more!

(Evi jumps As If and punches them :D)

Evi doesn't trust Kosm. Something about them, it was like memories of past lives together where they had...worked together? killed each other? They were the only person she half-recognized from times before her memory. :P

Goooood morning everyone~

First things first, current vote count:
    Hoid Slayer/Ekkar Loral: (1) BigBadBagsworth
    KelsierApologist/Zyvoxid: (2) Hoid Slayer, Amanuensis
    IcedOutPenguin/___________: (1) Araris Valerian
    Doc12/Evi: (1) ThatOneWorldHopper
    Amanuensis/Kosm: (1) Doc12
    Araris Valerian/Arlun: (1) IcedOutPenguin

Speaking of courts, I can't decide if I think it is better to know pairs or not, especially since Courts will change over the course of the game.🤔 At the same time, it would be beneficial to know Court-pairings each cycle for Vote counting, since each "God" in play votes in-line with their priests.

Rn, I'm going to hold off on voting since I don't have any gut-reads currently.

Leucosia eyed the gathered priests, listening with an aloof expression as arguments and accusations flew about around her. It seemed people were quick to point fingers as soon as anything went wrong, but she didn't have a clear indication for the exact ringleader yet--Arlun had been the first to throw out an accusation at ___________, but Ekkar and As If were the two who kept the momentum going. CD followed suit, though his vote was rescinded after a single response--curious, curious.

This reads to me like you are rather uninterested in solving the game.

And voting me first after saying two words doesn't?

Actually, I'm kind of curious. Every game I've played, TUO has opened with a "how's it feel to be elim again, Polly?" Where did that come from?
