Forgiveness, but do they really need a specific destination in this distance? Heading off vaguely into the Cosmere would not be suitable in an attempt to begin an interaction or task, but that is not the case here. It serves nicely to end an interaction.

To begin a later interaction, he can always specify that he going to Nerakalis, or wherever.

The souls of planets shared some resemblance to the souls of mortals. A complex web of Connections to define its vague relations to the vast array of individuals and objects, in a pattern totally unique to itself. Being comprised of the same substance, Mascarose could meld the infinite energy of the Shard Dominion with the souls of Alaswha, Roshar, and the unnamed third. Thereby tying himself near-inextricably to the Rosharan system.

Indeed, this was an outcome the system wanted, in its own way, as a project left abandoned by a deceased creator. Mascarose could fill in that role.

And thereafter, he chose too. Cautiously. A slow Investing of Dominion into the souls of the planets he had chosen to administer. His control over the planet’s fates, and that of their inhabitants, slowly began to grow.

Yes, he decided. He would ensure they reached their full potential.

Spoiler

Grace shall resurface, eventually. That task she placed in front of herself would be a tough one, I think. Besides, I think the best scene for her to involve herself in next would require a little more interaction betwixt a few others.

Anibelmeth came to a system, uninhabited by the other Shards, and saw that it would suit her purposes. Decided, she began Investing the system, preparing for what she would do at a future time. For now, she watched the movements of the other Shards and was content to be left alone, isolated in her own sphere of influence. Anibelmeth saw the others, and noted the near-conflict between Ruin and Endowment. Good. Perhaps she could build on that later. She saw, and was proud as Cultivation and Preservation worked to save the remnants of Yolen. Maybe... Maybe things didn't have to go the way she had planned. Maybe she could... No. This could only lead to pain. Anibelmeth could not allow the rule of imperfect gods.

Does First of the Sun have people on it yet?

What were you wanting to do?

Go to a star system, just a random one, you can make the details

Layke arrived. His star had not been as he expected - the system was filled with a cloud of various elements, and there were in fact two stars; one much like Yolen’s and one an inactive yet white-hot ball of what Layke recognized as oxygen and carbon. Still, it wasn’t as though a shard needed somewhere to stand; Layke placed himself within the star system as a whole, and thought.

I'm assuming that it does have people and Aviar.

Are you Investing the entire Drominad System or just FotS?

Umm... it might be a little warm... by that I mean maybe a few hundred celsius...

Unless there is some Invested means to counter that.

So a white dwarf. We'll go with that then. Remember, it's still an extremely luminous star core that hasn't had time to cool yet.

I assume the whole system, is it just a difference of the Shard being able to power things on one planet versus all?

Oh no

Thats on purpose.

Its supposed to be for the worthy, the ambitious, and (because she ain’t stupid) those willing to place their entire safety into the hands of Ambition.

But also… (who plays cultivation?)

With my planet complete, I deliberated. With these deliberations, I found a purpose. With humble guise, I contacted Cultivation, making an offer. For the Ambitious task of rebuilding Yolen, I would agree to train disciples of Cultivation, grow them to a prowess unmatched.
