the problem is I don't know if I can manage more then one at once lol

not to mention I only have plot for one storyline, and if we did two I would have to make sure the two threads don't contradict . . . there's a reason the separate threads in HG were region locked, but it doesn't really make sense for us to do it that way.

Meh, bodyguards and archipelago were just as big and we survived.

Name: June

Pronouns: He/him

Skills/occupation/’class’: June was one of the months, and July's twin brother. He's renowned for his musical skill, and this talent was the reason for his becoming a month in the first place. June used to occupy and entertain nobles and ambassadors with his music for the emperor. He doesn't really know how to do much else, but is learning quickly.

Appearance: June is about a head taller then August, as is July. He has long black hair that he leaves loose, and these days pretty messy. He's on the pale side, and wears typical traveling clothing for practicality. 

Backstory: June was taken with July from his parents as a small child, to become a month. As a month, he developed his musical talent and entertained people at the palace. During a trial a few weeks ago, he murdered the emperor because the emperor was about to send his brother away to war as a punishment. Now he's travelling with August and trying to untangle himself from the awful mess he's made.

Items of note they have with them / weapons: June carries a sword that August got him, but isn't particularly good with it yet. He also has his lute with him, and a sack of other belongings and essentials he managed to grab.

Personality: A little psycho, a little awful, pretty detached. He's gonna get character development guys don't worry, but for now, he's a little jerk. Deeply traumatized, also.

Alright everybody, I'm now closing the signups.

We have 16 characters that will be currently involved in the plot (including mine) and I don't know if I can keep track of more 

Thank you everyone for your interest! I didn't expect this many people to want to be involved.

The signups may reopen at some point, if I feel like it's necessary or possible (this has never been a hard closing RP like HG, so if you didn't get a character in and wanted to, know that there may be a chance to do so in the future). If anyone has questions, or thoughts on plot, or anything else please don't hesitate to PM me.

@BlueWildRye @Through The Living Glass You can still write up a character sheet if you want, I'm just closing things to new players.

Soon. The first post is going to include a list of characters, maps, and the already provided exposition all for reference, as well as our opening hook scene. This is gonna take me a while to compile, and I'm a pretty busy person. That said, my spring break is next week, and I'm gonna try and get it done during that time.

Pronouns: He/him

Skills/occupation/class: Engineer, pyrotechnician, inventor

Appearance: Small with dark hair and eyes. Wears a hood, a bulletproof vest, boots and a utility belt. 

Backstory: Blessed with incredible intelligence, but terrible at doing anything other than inventing things. Many countries and organizations try to track him down so that he can make advanced weaponry for them, so he is wanted in almost every country in the world simply for his skills.

Items of note/weapons: Multiple pistols, copious grenades and a rifle. Carries the blueprints to the Ryeling Gun (Gatling Gun in our world), which is basically an early machine gun. He also has a large amount of mechanical watches (his specialty---he has broken his own world record for making a watch in the shortest amount of time). Usually he disguises himself as a simple watchmaker.

Personality: Bad at talking, so Rye usually just stays quiet and makes watches or bombs for fun. He's a really nice guy, if you get to know him. But no one has really done that, because they value him for his engineering skills, nothing more.

Rye is an anomaly. He's pretty much singlehandedly brought the Industrial Revolution to a couple of countries (mainly Shenai, which has been embroiled in a civil war because of the technologies he brought with him), but the rest of them still have medieval-level technology.
