Antioch Posted February 11, 2025 Posted February 11, 2025 I’m curious if anyone has theories that, whether or not they are proven correct, will have little to no effect on the narrative as a whole. For example, throwing this out there: In future eras, where texting as a means of communication has become mainstream, there will be spren emojis (e.g., instead of , a small stylized depiction of an angerspren). 6
dezaS Hᴇ/Hɪᴍ Posted February 11, 2025 Posted February 11, 2025 A hundred years later, the game of towers may gain religious relevance similar to how in Mistborn eastern street slang has become the high, official language of the Basin. (Because of the relevance of Towers strategy in the WaT gambit) This might be a little out there though...

By that time, it wouldn't just be a stylized spren, but an actual one. Investiture is energy, and electricity is energy and spren can move real fast...so...there will be spren zipping through the internet for funzies and normal spren stuff, like popping out of your screen to the emotions embedded there. 1
Aliroz-The-Confused Posted February 11, 2025 Posted February 11, 2025 Nalthis will have the cosmere equivalent of salsa, and it will become a comfort food among soldiers returning home from some war before later becoming a more "mainstream" food among the descendants of such.
Orgasmatron Posted February 12, 2025 Posted February 12, 2025 Fabrials that are essentially vape pens for various types of investiture. Want to use stormlight on scadrial? Lemme hit this vape real quick... 6

Why Nalthis and not the Herdazian diaspora on Scadrial or even JinDo on Sel (they have spicy peppers)?
Lopens Tenth Cousin he/him Posted February 12, 2025 Posted February 12, 2025 I think similar to how we have air fryers, they will have "sunlight spore fryers" (maybe eventually)
CMac716 Posted February 12, 2025 Posted February 12, 2025 Roshar was a giant musical instrument. The Wind blowing over the Dawncities played their Pure Tones and caused the super scale patterns that Kabsal showed Shallan. 4

Because Warbreaker has descriptions of such food being prepared, which gives it as association with my dad's cooking (there's a lot of books I associate with the smell of whatever was for dinner on the days I read them, especially if they have descriptions of cooking). And because my grandpa came back from WWII with a love for salsa (a food which he, sadly, did not live to see become popular enough in his region to buy instead of make yourself). 1

Possibly, but the only problem is the pressure made from the explosion of the Zephyr spores would need a more sturdy container then just the light and heat from sunlight spores... but I suppose it would still work Also, the stick that Shallan had such a trouble Soulcasting is going to be Awakened by Vasher. 2
JohnnyKaizen he/him Posted February 13, 2025 Posted February 13, 2025 Eventually, there will arise an interplanetary fast food chain of Chouta restaurants. Their sign will be of a blue woman (This will be Syl, but almost nobody will remember that) and the chain will be called, Windy's. 11
Honorspring Posted February 15, 2025 Posted February 15, 2025 I think the allomantic lines on Scadrial are blue because they represent a direct connection between the powers of Ruin and Preservation and the metals that contain more of their investiture than other matter on the planet (due to the planet being made by those two Shards and the fact that the metal glows in the sight of Ruin in the books) Because it is a connection of the power and the metal, I think the lines are blue because it is the color of Honor, the Shard of Connection
AlmightyGir Posted February 15, 2025 Posted February 15, 2025 There will be an actual, in-universe crempost. 3
Aliroz-The-Confused Posted March 19, 2025 Posted March 19, 2025 (edited) On several sparsely inhabited planets unimportant to the greater Cosmere, the word for "butthole" in multiple languages is "Rayse". Hoid is only one of the individuals responsible for this. Edited March 19, 2025 by Aliroz-The-Confused Spelling and Grammar. 9

Elite01 Posted March 21, 2025 Posted March 21, 2025 In the future scadrial will let people become organ donors but for allomatic powers, if they are the verge they give permission to be made into spikes and a plasma to donate allomatic powers in return for money now that people can be spiked without being killed. The more rare the power the more money.
