Without warning the ship suddenly accelerates, zooming over the surface as it rides the waves of thought. You all feel a headache coming on.

Lines exploded around Elan, each one nearly identical, pulsing silvery threads of light. Trillions. More. A number more expansive than the Queen’s, each one glowing brightly.
