Let the lurking begin.

December 1st, 2023 was I introduced to Brandon Sanderson, by a super cute and handsome guy. And while yes, I will admit I first read Way of Kings hoping to get said guy to talk to me, (Which was extremely difficult by the way.) I soon fell in love with this rich wide world known as the Cosmere. Since then I think I’ve listened to each Stormlight book three times, one time doing each book through one person’s perspective. Now I’m on the second to last Wheel of Time, and wait anxiously for Knights of Wind and Truth, I have my own set of leather bounds, and have made a Chasmfiend book nook.

 

Oh, and for those of you who care, I managed to get said guy to talk to me, only after I had read all of Stormlight, and then Mistborn as well.

 

Anyway, thus I shall start my lurking.

WoT has been good, I’ve really been looking forward to the Brandon Sanderson books of it, and I must say, they have yet to disappoint.

So far I’ve guessed a few things, so we’ll have to wait and see. I can’t say I’m very attached to many characters, to be completely honest. But I did of course absolutely sob over Rhythm of War. That was rough.

I mean, I very quickly guessed the three women who would like Rand, although for a while I thought they might bring back in that farm girl who liked him book one. I’ve also only been waiting since the White Tower was attacked when the super assassin would come out. (Although I literally just got to that part, so no spoilers thank you very much.) I don’t know, a few other things where I was like, “Ah, yes, I thought so.”

Meh, he’s kinda slimy. But he’s funny, so he gets a slight pass. I’ll be upset if he dies, but not utterly heart broken.
