So this is the second time I've started reading the preview chapters for a Sanderson book, the first time being The Lost Metal. That book had a lot happening in terms of theorizing. But something I remember really enjoying after finishing Rhythm of War was the really big thread of memes.

in another one of the Shallan chapters that Brandon read, she keeps unconsciously drawing the face of a singer woman in her sketches, and Kalak says that it's Mishram and that it's the similar to what happened when Re-Shephir's presence in the tower caused Shallan to make distorted drawings.
