TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 18, 2014 Author Posted October 18, 2014 (edited) Why the Calamity would I be mad? (Happens all the time. Don't worry about it. ) * braces self for tragincredible backstory * Here it is. I hope it is tragincredible. And here's Reader! Edited October 18, 2014 by TwiLyghtSansSparkles 4
Voidus Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Meanwhile in the Dalles: A Challenger Approaches! Prankster! Prepare for tomfoolery! It would be awesome if the Mad Ballooner and Schultz could join the attack on MoNA. They could help with vertical transportation, and general insanity. Or they could be used to distract Funtimes. Just think, a strangely dressed man, speakin in a funny accent and creating multicolored balloons. She wouldn't be able to look away. Funtimes will probably have headed back to her cottage for the night but they can definitely join in on the attack.

Voidus Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 So did I get approval for Scribbler to join Vondra's team? I might do an intro post for her during my next post.
Kobold King he/him Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 I hope it is tragincredible. And here's Reader! He's awesome. Following TwiLyght's glorious example, I threw together Timeport Pony Mark I. Open for critique. Right now he has the canonical character icon as a cutie mark, but he could just as easily have Doctor Whooves' hourglass. So did I get approval for Scribbler to join Vondra's team? I might do an intro post for her during my next post. This is pleasing to mine eyes. Though TwiLyght's in charge of this sort of thing. 3

Kobold King he/him Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 You know me. If it's awesome, I approve, and this idea is awesome. Like the Timeport pony. Thanks. Now I just need to make an Upgrade pony so I can make zany time travel comics. 1
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 18, 2014 Author Posted October 18, 2014 Thanks. Now I just need to make an Upgrade pony so I can make zany time travel comics. Yes! Yes yes yes yes yes! Speaking of comics, I was bored, so I thought to myself, "It's October. Why not make shipping terrifying?" Still getting the hang of the comics creator, but I think it gets the message across. 3
Seonid he/him Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Reading back through the responses here, and through my post, I realized that I wasn't clear on something. Ghostknife (which is the Epic name of Linda Mayes) is consistently described as a "girl," "little girl," or "short girl." I think that some people got the impression that she is younger than she was. Ghostknife/Linda is about 16, and is about 5' nothing, and weighs about 100 pounds. Maybe 110. So she's young enough for the 35-year old Paladin to describe as a little girl, but she's not a young child. Just clearing that up.

Her thoughts were a bit too mature for a small child, so I'd pictured her as somewhere between 13 and 16. Still, what Paladin did was pretty horrifying, given she was crying. Not sure if totes adorbs or hair-raisingly terrifying. I was going for that fine line somewhere in between. 1

It was definitely horrifying. No doubt about that. And it was meant to be. I was just afraid that people were reading more horror than was actually there. There was more than enough moral despicableness in that post without bringing in the murder of small children. I'll leave that to Koschei.
Voidus Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Can I get a list of who's posting in which alliances? So far I've got:MoNA: Tulir, Twi, Kobold, Voidus, Mrs.Voidus, Edge, Fatebreaker.TT: Mailliw, Joe, Voidus, Edge, TwiCM: Twi, Joe, Mailliw, Tulir, Mail-miSo anyone I've forgotten?
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 18, 2014 Author Posted October 18, 2014 Oh. It was definitely horrifying. No doubt about that. And it was meant to be. I'll leave that to Koschei. Oh, I caught the horror was intended. Nowhere in your post did you imply that Paladin was doing the right thing—which made it all the more excellent. Koschei….well….I wanted to try writing a Complete Monster, so I did, and that's what I got. 1

Fatebreaker he/him Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Wait, wait! don't forget ME! Whoops, I left off an "E" I meant MEE: Voidius, Fatebreaker, and Mail-mi 1

Fatebreaker he/him Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 I'm trying to avoid drawing attention to the fact that the MEE is controlled solely by denziens of the Dark alley at the moment Oops, my bad. Would this be a bad time to introduce my new baking epic?
Voidus Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Oops, my bad. Would this be a bad time to introduce my new baking epic? Saccharine's already snuck in to that role there was actually a little joke about the DA in one of her posts a while ago, not sure if anyone saw it. And I've tried to foreshadow a metallurgist Epic in the MEE who tipped Stitch's thread with a spike.
Tulir he/him Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 You like Guardian more because Paladin killed a crying little girl? (That´s what happend, right?) Nope, like Seonid said, I like the Guardian viewpoints. The Paladin viewpoint was tragic and sad, but the upside of the whole post was Guardian. He's awesome. Following TwiLyght's glorious example, I threw together Timeport Pony Mark I. Open for critique. Right now he has the canonical character icon as a cutie mark, but he could just as easily have Doctor Whooves' hourglass. This is pleasing to mine eyes. That looks right to me.

There's a reason I had Mommy bring in a bunch of test subjects children*. *This may or may not have actually been the reason. 1
Edgedancer he/him Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Aww look at her she's so cute and friendly! And she even has a sunshine cutie mark! How could such a cute creature be involved with Funtimes' tragic backstory? ... Oh Calamity. She's dead, isn't she? It´s the whole Too Good for This Sinful Earth trope. I hope it is tragincredible. And here's Reader! Doesn´t look despicabble enough. Yes! Yes yes yes yes yes! Speaking of comics, I was bored, so I thought to myself, "It's October. Why not make shipping terrifying?" Still getting the hang of the comics creator, but I think it gets the message across. Awwww, they really are cute together. There's a reason I had Mommy bring in a bunch of test subjects children*. *This may or may not have actually been the reason. Why do you of all people call us monsters.
Jo and the Bush all/any Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 So when Sightline teleports, anything touching him loses all momentum. He can also teleport unlimited times a second. And he can teleport into the exact same place. Sightline can fly. Or Levitate.
