Not much has happened yet, my character Jenny is with @Weaver of Lights‘s character Edgar and @RoyalBeeMage’s character Roy at the fire pit area. Edgar and Roy just finished arguing. Jenny is attempting to hang out with them. I think there is going to be a capture the flag game the next day. Jenny recently and very noticeably threw bad-smelling flowers in the fire, so that could potentially work for drawing a new character’s attention to the current ones if wanted. Introducing them at some later point might be easier, though.

Her smiling expression melted away, being replaced by a sad one. She set her dagger down and stared at her hands in her lap.

”There aren’t very many nice people here. Not nice to me, at least. I’m sure they’re kind to other people, though.”

She watched a kid at the Athena table split his bread in half, handing it to his sister. Bad people didn’t share with others, so he probably wasn’t a cruel person. But he’d called Jenny a hag anyways.

She went back to carving the bird on the table. It was a decent rendition, although the head was backwards. A bit of bone stuck out of its neck. Jenny blew some wood dust off so she could see it better.

”I like my dad. He doesn’t talk to me that much, but he gave me a really nice gift. Necromancy is great too. It’s other people who don’t like him.”

She scraped the dagger a little too hard against the wood, leaving a gash.

”Death makes most people uncomfortable. They know I’m the daughter of the god of the underworld, so I make them uncomfortable too.”

“Yeah…that’s what I meant. I tend to make other people uncomfortable too. But, well, you haven’t made me uncomfortable, you seem very nice.” His Gift started morphing in his hand, becoming different shapes, then extending above his palm in a spiral pattern.
