You are guaranteed dead if you somehow manage to kill the Greenspine at this moment, though. Without someone in control of those vines, the moment they hit water, that's it. You could escape, however.

I would like to port one of my pre-existing characters here. preferably Heartache as she's surprisingly durable even without her chain mail and plate armor, thanks to being half-dragon. Speaking of which, flying can be exhausting, and, well, don't be surprised if she starts gnawing on her kills, it's nature for a 70-tailed-fox-dragon-thing. Squick aside,

If she was going to be in a Games, she’d have to be a monster and antagonist. The tributes are all human and can pick from some powers in each sign ups
