It happened at the end of the last games, though we're aware that those who didn't participate might need more explanation (which is coming, slowly, as we figure things out).

Is it okay if I do the pre-RP from the perspective of one character, but the actual RP as a different character?

I thought like family was separated or whatnot because society is a dreary, segregated place.

They have been, sorry I wasn't very clear on that. But it could still be someone who's related to or knows/knew a character you might later use for the actual games, even if they'd be in different districts right now.

Yeah, you can play a sibling of your characters in a different district, like maybe have them send a letter or what not. you can have fun with it. Thats the point of the games.

Choose a random district and put him there, irp you have to file for a train ticket and personally pm me irp to get one then you can travel to whatever district is on your ticket irp. You can request a ticket to travel to irp. The point is that you dont just hop districts, its a process.

could someone explain the difrent districts

They’re named for characters from the Stormlit HG and contain three districts each to make twelve total districts (like the original Hunger games). Since you don’t have any previous characters, you can probably choose any of the districts to be in.

In the Sanderson Hunger Games of old, there were 12 districts, each with their own industry. They were titled in the most uncreative of manners (District 1, District 2, District 3, etc.) and the twelve districts, along with the capital, formed the nation of…

I’m not actually sure what the nation was called. Maybe Panem, like in the Hunger Games books?

However, with the rebellions that took place during the Cytoverse Hunger Games, the districts have since become four districts, named for the four victims of suicide during the Stormlight Hunger Games. The districts are where your characters are from for each Hunger Games.

Yes, but even if you had previous characters from one district, you can have your future characters from other ones.

Pretty much. Although they are bigger than cities, more akin to the size of U.S. states or smaller countries.
