"What is wrong with you? Is everyone in this museum completely insane?" 90% at least. Given that he helped Nighthound the P certainly is. 3
Voidus Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Well it's in character, I realized that even taking Penumbra into account his last post was a bit OOC for him.But yes, completely insane. Oh and just a quick out of thread explanation, Refill now carries a flask full of blood around with him, he can only increase things he views as a drink so that's the way he's discovered to use his powers offensively. 1

Oh and just a quick out of thread explanation, Refill now carries a flask full of blood around with him, he can only increase things he views as a drink so that's the way he's discovered to use his powers offensively. Let me get this straight. Refill now considers blood a drink? Does he also drink the blood of his victims? Why are people calling me the monster guy.
Voidus Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Let me get this straight. Refill now considers blood a drink? Does he also drink the blood of his victims? Why are people calling me the monster guy. Writing Simon's put me in a bad mindset, I think a few of my characters are going to take a darker turn, for Refill it's kindof justified, he's never used his power enough to be severely effected by Calamity, but the passed day has seen him use it frequently and now he's even killed people with it so he'd definitely be feeling the corruption now, but I do have some plans for his eventual death that I'll work out. 2
Edgedancer he/him Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Just to make it clear you´re of course free to stop Nighthound from leaving the scene and searching for Ray and Voidgaze, if you are a good person and want to help them or just enjoy his company. There´s also a standing offer for anyone to run into the two girls, otherwise I can always default to our standard MO. A round of all our characters trying to one up each other with stories of their past adventures would also be rather entertaining.
Kobold King he/him Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 We are the disciples of Kobold King. Muahahaha... uh, I mean, how sweet of you to say that. Otherwise they'll go try to strike up a conversation with Remington Springfield. Shall we pick up the Lightwards/Lucentia conversation at the tailor's shop? 1

Sure never can get enough from those two and the characters didn´t have a proper chance to meet yet. (They don´t have ponies yet, do they?) Fine by me, feel free to get them there.

(They don´t have ponies yet, do they?) Fine by me, feel free to get them there. You mean Sam and Revolution? They definitely have ponies. Somewhere. Maybe I should get one of those fancy Photobuckets like everyone else uses. Right-o, I'll get Lightwards and Sam viewpoints up later. EDIT: MV glared at her sister before clambering into the truck, she glared at a few of the soldiers for good measure, particularly the one that was looking at her with a little too much interest as she accidentally bared too much skin as she climbed in. What the soldier is actually thinking: "Oh sparks she just showed skin! What if she's some kind of skin-showing Epic who kills you by showing skin!? OH CALAMITY I'M GOING TO DIE." Upsy, I forgot about those. They were really nervous about that since Commando burnt out the eyes of an entire battalion.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 3, 2014 Author Posted October 3, 2014 (edited) I think it would be fun to celebrate one of our favorite memes by introducing it to classic works of literature. Susan drained the potatoes and then put them all back in the empty pot to dry on the side of the range while Lucy was helping Mrs. Beaver to dish up the trout, so that in a very few minutes everyone was drawing up their stools (it was all three-legged stools in the Beavers’ house except for Mrs. Beaver’s own special rocking chair beside the fire) and preparing to enjoy themselves. And then Nighthound died. From The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis 'Where are you going, Master?' cried Sam, though at last he understood what was happening.'To the Havens, Sam,' said Frodo.'And I can't come.''No, Sam. Not yet, anyway, not further than the Havens. Though you too were a Ring-bearer, if only for a little while. Your time may come. Do not be too sad, Sam. You cannot always be torn in two. You will have to be one and whole, for many years. You have so much to enjoy and to be, and to do.''But,' said Sam, and tears started in his eyes, 'I thought you were going to enjoy the Shire, too, for years and years, after all you have done.''So I thought too, once. But I have been too deeply hurt, Sam. I tried to save the Shire, and it has been saved, but not for me. It must often be so, Sam, when things are in danger: some one has to give them up, lose them, so that others may keep them. But you are my heir: all that I had and might have had I leave to you. And also you have Rose, and Elanor; and Frodo-lad will come, and Rosie-lass, and Merry, and Goldilocks, and Pippin; and perhaps more that I cannot see. Your hands and your wits will be needed everywhere. You will be the Mayor, of course, as long as you want to be, and the most famous gardener in history; and you will read things out of the Red Book, and keep alive the memory of the age that is gone, so that people will remember the Great Danger, and so love their beloved land all the more. And that will keep you as busy and as happy as anyone can be, as long as your part in the Story goes on.'Come now, ride with me!' The purity of the scene drove Nigthound to madness, and he died there; his passing showed Sam that good things were indeed possible in this new world. Edgedancer he/him Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 I can´t help but wonder, how many boyfriends did Funtimes have? And because I´m already asking questions let me get back to this one for Kobold: I´ve been thinking about a way to get Baxter involved, how propable is it for Vondra to call him in for a check-up?

And because I´m already asking questions let me get back to this one for Kobold: Well, once news of Quicksilver's attack on the command post reaches his ears, Baxter might be one of the medics sent to give emergency first-aid. (I really didn't anticipate a full-blown attack this early in the RP. With an assault on this caliber, Vondra might send Arsenal and a battalion of tanks to the location.) TwiLyght, did you have any ideas for how to introduce Autumn Glass? Edited October 3, 2014 by Kobold King
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 3, 2014 Author Posted October 3, 2014 (edited) I can´t help but wonder, how many boyfriends did Funtimes have? Umm….a few? I don't have an exact number yet, but she definitely has a liberal definition of "dating." As in, "You just smashed that office chair while I turned the desk to pudding so that means we're together now YAY!" "….Sure, babe. Always wanted a girl like you." Edit: No, I have no idea as to how I'm going to introduce Autumn. Edited October 3, 2014 by TwiLyghtSansSparkles 3
Edgedancer he/him Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Well, once news of Quicksilver's attack on the command post reaches his ears, Baxter might be one of the medics sent to give emergency first-aid. (I really didn't anticipate a full-blown attack this early in the RP. With an assault on this caliber, Vondra might send Arsenal and a battalion of tanks to the location.) TwiLyght, did you have any ideas for how to introduce Autumn Glass? Approved. (Well this is what happens if you give our people the okay to make the place an active location and don´t have a heavy hitter to keep order. ) Scouting or escort duty? Umm….a few? I don't have an exact number yet, but she definitely has a liberal definition of "dating." As in, "You just smashed that office chair while I turned the desk to pudding so that means we're together now YAY!" "….Sure, babe. Always wanted a girl like you." Why do I have the feeling that almost none of them were powerful Epics that could have said no? 1

Why do I have the feeling that almost none of them were powerful Epics that could have said no? Quite a few of them were powerful Epics, actually. Her last boyfriend was a strength Epic who, like many of her previous boyfriends, agreed that they were dating because she was so darn useful. (The fact that she's cute didn't hurt, either. ) Nathan is her first vanilla boyfriend and oh my gosh that sounds like the worst boy band name ever I am never typing that again. But yeah. She's had a lot of boyfriends. 3

Every church needs a minister, even if it's been turned into a soulless office building with Reader in it. "Have I ever told you how cute you are when you tinker with the structural integrity of matter?" 2

I mostly had Nighthound say this to be mean but he had a point, when he said that everyone is just using Funtimes. 3

Edgedancer he/him Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Koschei and Slaughterhouse have the dubious honor of being two of the few people NOT better than Nighthound. He had no idea how close he was to the truth. A dubious honor indeed, even if hard earned. I wonder what Slaughterhouse would think about what happened to the skeleton of The Metal... Well, I had a hunch, I just didn´t know that it was a repeating pattern. 1
Kobold King he/him Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Koschei and Slaughterhouse have the dubious honor of being two of the few people NOT better than Nighthound. He had no idea how close he was to the truth. I've suspected before that Funtimes had bad experiences that fed into her desire to be well-loved. I hope her backstory wasn't too traumatic. (Off-topic, but what would everyone think of a meta-Epic working for the MEE? I was imagining someone capable of scrambling powers between several different Epics, sowing confusion amongst coordinated groups and throwing enemy strike teams into disarray.) 1
