Opal Lion Posted January 6, 2024 Posted January 6, 2024 Sure pms have the ability to be fun but if you ask why I e read you when you claim to have content only in pms you can t be surprised (which you weren't, but just saying) Imo pms are best utilized for manipulation and thread is best used for dumping Anyways eod1 kinda like saff's vibe still the flipping can go either way but yeah gonna call them v for now Alb rly be my strongest suspect rn esp with the post they posted right before eod abt voting with no conclusions really and a lot of summaries of moves

They might've turned it off D1 in order to be seeked N1

I'm trying to confbias an e!flamingo world and want to say Albatross doesn't fit in that world as evil. Also I kinda think your "no conclusions" and only summaries read is a bit unfair, given their post has a discernable amount of meat and conclusions on it. (Er, it had them on dragonfly I guess). Also noted on that, I'm kinda just figuring them out for now /shrug.

Casting molds for bolts, active production of ballistae and crossbows.” “That’s a lot of anti-Misting projectiles,” Oleinda opined. “We’re supposed to be fighting Koloss. “Linaan’s reports indicate the Koloss army is accompanied by mistings, and always at least one Mistborn who appears to be responsible for commanding them,” Sidor replied. “Still, the ratio is skewed.” “We need to get all this to Afandor in defense.” “We need to find out what Cel knew of this first, as Murph’s representative. Tyrian has moved past artisan crafting except for individual use and hobbyists. If Murph intended these weapons to be used by the town, there should have been permits, plans, labor assignments. We’d have far more of everything had this operation been Manufacture-run with a proper workforce instead of just one craftsman and two apprentices.” “Agde wouldn’t have signed off on the raw materials needed for that until very recently. Every agriculture worker is focused on food production, not wood gathering.” Linaan Prime dipped her head down through the window whiskers twitching, interrupting the conversation. “Linaan II’s lost contact with a nearby patrol. Let’s go.” Sidor’ rushed towards the window, allowing herself to be scooped up and deposited on Linaan Prime’s back as her claws dug into the gaps between the stones of the tower exterior. Oleinda hesitated, not wanting to fall 15 meters to her probable death. “Come along, little allomancer,” Linaan Prime purred. “Surely, you’ve fallen from greater heights with a Coinshot before.” Oleinda trusted Afandor’s ability to protect her from a fall more than Linaan Prime’s, but she wasn’t about to get left behind. She took the hand of Sidor’ and closed her eyes as they accelerated down the tower, leaping off halfway down. She braced for impact, but even with her mass split in half, Linaan Prime more than matched Sidor’s 90 kg, and her densely packed layers of muscle and fat combined with feline agility cushioned the landing enough that none sustained injury. As soon as they landed the trio rushed to the spot where Linaan II had last heard from the missing patrol. Her second body opened her mouth to explain the situation, but the only thing that came out was an image. Spoiler Oleinda made a face, but this too came out as an image. Spoiler Unwilling to explain further, Linaan II merely discarded her skeleton and rejoined Linaan to prevent memory loss, leaving the bones where they lay as everyone rushed towards whatever was distorting their speech. Tune was having the time of his life, even as he and the dwindling patrol fought desperately against a Spiked. Spoiler popped out of him unbidden, illuminating a hooded figure ramming a dagger through the eye of the second to last of four original patrol members. Tune hadn’t thought to bring any weapons, but he grabbed a fallen dueling cane and stood up just in time to see the last of the patrol get cut down. Pointing the cane at the Spiked, Spoiler projected outwards. The Spiked hesitated, wavered, and ran. Tune only had a few moments to exult in his survival before Linaan came bounding up, Sidor’ and Oleinda close behind her. Before any of them could call out to him and trigger yet more images, a spike came hurtling through the mist, impaling Tune through the throat. “Tune!” Oleinda cried out, her words returning immediately upon Tune’s death. Linaan sniffed the air, searching for the trail of the Spiked, but her olfactory system wasn’t as advanced as an actual cat’s without extensive brain remodelings unsuitable for a human template, and the smell of blood and fresh corpses overpowered her nose. “He’s gone,” Sidor declared. “We must report these deaths to Afandor and demand tighter patrols if one Spiked can kill five people singlehandedly. Linaan, can you handle the corpses?” Linaan was already hard at work, using fangs and claws to strip the dead down to their skeletons, to be stored for future use. Oleinda had to quickly turn away to avoid throwing up. “Yes, we’ll do that,” she managed. “Future patrols will be outfitted with projectile weaponry.” She walked away with Sidor, muttering under her breath. “How do you put up with that thing? It’s a wild animal. It only looks like a woman so it can prey on us, and only fights the Spiked to keep us to itself.” Emerald Falcon has been killed by the Spiked! They were a Villager! I contend that they were trying to recreate the (pocketing) effect they had on Mouse when they did it D1!

High and/or unconventional distros are always a possibility though. The writeups seem to be turning my slightly-militant Armorer into the town Serial Hazekiller... and you know I can work with that. Murph's done some work like that in the past.

Should something notable enough happen to change that, (such as an e flip), I will look at teams. Option is its a fear kill based on IDing Falcon, or who Falcon was trying to present as. My theory is a coinshot shooting Falcon at the same time they are NKed simply results in the writeup we received! It's a shame there's no way of finding out how that situation would be represented.
