Zas678 he/him Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Ohhh. That's a tough one. I would really really like to be able to be a Coinshot, but I think that's all that I would use in my Mistborn arsenel, besides Soothing and Rioting (which I could mimic using Connection). So I guess I would say Feruchemy. There's an incredible amount of applicability, from rationing food (All you can eat buffet for the win!), changing weight, strength, senses, as well as some of the odd ones, like luck or connection. Plus memory, which I think is the best thing about Feruchemists. So I guess it's not that tough after all. For those of you in school- would you rather never have another test again? Or never have another homework assignment again?
Tulir he/him Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Never have another homework assignment again, I could spend more time here.
Ironeyes Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 (edited) Never able to die, that would be awesome! But sad. Ironeyes, what is your signature from? I recognize it but I don't remember. Have you ever read Fablehaven? Think about the Eternals in the 5th book. That kind of eternal life. Never able to die, that would be awesome! But sad. Ironeyes, what is your signature from? I recognize it but I don't remember. That my friend would be The Princess Bride. It's a quote between Indigo and Wesley as they're fighting at the top of the cliffs of despair. Exactly. I used it because it's ironic– I'm ambidextrous. Plus I absolutely love that movie. Edited March 15, 2012 by Ironeyes
Tulir he/him Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 (edited) I have read Fablehaven, and actually, now that I have thought about it a normal life would be way better. Edited March 15, 2012 by Tulir
Emeralis00 she/her Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Preparing to avert off-topicness..restarting topic. Go! Would you rather eat raw hamburger for breakfast every morning or always have eggs stuck in your hair?
Shivertongue he/him Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Preparing to avert off-topicness..restarting topic. Go! Would you rather eat raw hamburger for breakfast every morning or always have eggs stuck in your hair? Raw hamburger. The hair is more important than silly things like salmonella or e-coli. Not to mention I'm never awake for breakfast anyway, so... Would you rather [insert witty thing involving carrier pigeons] or [insert witty thing about tube socks]? Be specific as to why you chose what you did.

Be specific as to why you chose what you did.I would much rather play a game of racquetball against a carrier pigeon than kidnap the dalai lama with nothing but tube socks. It should be obvious, but that's because a carrier pigeon is pretty bad at raquetball, and I really have nothing against the dalai lama.Would you rather be rich and highly unpopular and hated, or be famous and beloved by all but poor?(GO GO TOP OF GOOGLE PAGE SEARCH FOR "dalai lama tube socks"!) 1
Tulir he/him Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Famous because the people would be more likely to give me money. Thanks for this, Erongal: Would you rather play in a RPG world with Pun-Pun in it, or without Pun-Pun in it?
Deoradhan Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Without Pun-Pun - it'll be less boring that way. Would you rather be dunked repeatedly into rancid butter, or a pool full of ants?
Aeshdan he/him Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 The pool full of ants. Drowned ants aren't much of a problem, and i can wash them off. Would you rather be mute or be required to sing everything you say (a la Jabez in Hoodwinked)
Zas678 he/him Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 Oh sing everything I say, definitely. Would you rather go a month without any good food (like you hate everything you eat), or a month without the internet?
Vikter Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 Well I am a cook so not much of a choice, I can deal with no Internet for quite a long time. Would you rather work 40 hours over 2 days and have all week off or a regular work week?
Tamzin Ashevai she/her Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 Mistborn! (I think I got off easy on that one.) Would you rather careen off a cliff (without the ability to burn Steel as an Allomancer) and risk the canopy that awaits you below, or scale a building given only your hands and feet (without the same ability) in the event that you fall?

(GO GO TOP OF GOOGLE PAGE SEARCH FOR "dalai lama tube socks"!) The dream has almost been realized! Mistborn! (I think I got off easy on that one.) Would you rather careen off a cliff (without the ability to burn Steel as an Allomancer) and risk the canopy that awaits you below, or scale a building given only your hands and feet (without the same ability) in the event that you fall? (FYI, i think you answered the wrong question. seems you forgot to flip to the second page ) I would rather scale a building with my hands and feet, because then, at least, i'm in control of my own fate. Would you rather have all universal knowledge (that is, know everything) and unending poor health or a lifetime of perfect bodily health and complete stupidity?
Zas678 he/him Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Universal Knowledge, most certainly. I would much rather be Stephen Hawking then a dumb muscley man. Would you rather have your writing hand cut off (right for righthanders, left for lefties) or a leg cut off?
Lady_Yasha she/her Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 (edited) Given that choice I'd have to say leg since I find most things awkward with my left hand. Given no way to return would you rather travel to the past, or travel to the future, to any year you wanted? Edited September 8, 2012 by Lyrebon
Brendan Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 The Future!, the unknown is > the known! Upon touching someone for the first time, would you rather instantly have complete knowledge of their entire past from birth to that moment, or of their entire future from that moment until their death?
Observer Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 (edited) The Future!, the unknown is > the known! Upon touching someone for the first time, would you rather instantly have complete knowledge of their entire past from birth to that moment, or of their entire future from that moment until their death? The future. Ultimate crime stopper, ultimate future changer, ultimate frustration in the event the future turns out to be set in stone. No sight or no Hearing? Edited September 8, 2012 by Observer
Emeralis00 she/her Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 No hearing. I have been temporarily blind at one point and it was...horrible.
FeatherWriter she/her Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 No hearing. I have been temporarily blind at one point and it was...horrible. Em! You've got to give a choice, silly!
Eerongal he/him Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Em! You've got to give a choice, silly! I believe he was simply trying to take the existential nihilistic approach and make everyone playing this game take a quick break to give there actions a bit more thought to them. That or he forgot.
JamesW he/him Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 No sight or no Hearing? No Hearing, I like seeing stuff. Would you rather give up technology, or give up books? This includes using technology to read books.
Salmakia she/her Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 Do you mean if one gives up books, they can no longer read them using technology? Either way, I'd give up technology. This would make it a LITTLE difficult to teach English and I'd miss Final Fantasy, but apart from that, I could cope. Having said that, giving up books would make it impossible to teach English! At least I could get by with hand-written notes and artistic presentations.
JamesW he/him Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 Yeah that was my intent, if one forsakes books, they can't read them using technology
