anyway! you arrive at the mushroom field. it is open, and unoccupied by any other tributes. there seem to be no creatures or shades nearby. the ground is scattered with plants and mushrooms. a river is heard ahead.

Alder starts grabbing sticks and stripping the bark off them to tie them up to each other.

Quill peered cynically at her fellow contestants. She knew she couldn't trust any of them. But she needed allies to survive. Hopefully her skills could handle her enough until she found allies. She watched each of them go off. She slowly grabbed a pack and a weapon and snuck off, not running, away. She decided to go towards the eastern shelter in case precipitation happened or anything of the like.

Calliope grips onto a dagger by her side and stands abruptly. 

"Ariadne. Ariadne, stop crying. Hushh, hushh. It's okay. Everything will be okay. Stop crying..."

Calliope began to run down the marble halls of the headquarters.

"Ariadne.... That monster, he has you, doesen't he? He took you away from me..."

She raised her voice.

"Away from me....."

As Lilac turns to him to nod, she pauses for a second. Something in her expression shifts. "Your eyes. They're..." She frowns. "They remind me of someone-" She shakes her head, but she seems somewhat subdued. "Someone I know...?" She laughs suddenly. "Ignore me." Following the map, she reaches the mushroom area.

You head in that direction. As you make your way through the forest, your foot gets caught. Then, your entire leg falls through a ditch, disguised as forest floor. It was a trap. You are stuck.
