Yeah, there are 2 main differences.

1. Ours have much more self awareness,

2. THEY PUNCH PEOPLE.

1. They actually remember stuff

2. They grow hungry and angry when a simple rule is broken

3. They can communicate with people

4. They punch people

5. They target those people who are seriously inactive or aren't having a plot -worthy moment

She tries opening said small compartment.

Inside is a small chip, that looks like it’d fit the lock on the door.

Important Announcement

You all see a bright flame spread and move across the entire arena, lighting all the trees ablaze. Once one tree burned, every leaf and branch ignited, as the forest was very dry. Immediately, every tree in proximity to the flaming tree catches fire. This quickly covers the entire arena. Even the dry tallgrass of the mushroom fields burn with an everlasting, red flame. The only areas that don't seem to be alight are the shelters and the river. There is one communal shelter in the middle, but it only admits one tribute at a time. All shades are blinded, and the very wind scalds your skin with burning ash. You are all are in the middle of a dangerous, raging wildfire.

Naran heads towards the communal shelter, hoping to get there before anyone else.

“Victor!” Siylna shouts desperately, grabbing his hands and holding them tight. “Victor. She is—was—nothing. Meaningless. We are in top of the world, and she is dead. She won’t ever hurt you again.”

Because it was while back I’m going to assume Victor walked off.

Victor sits in his room, curled up at the head of his bed hugging his knees.
why… why… why

Dried tears dot his cheeks. He sniffles a little. His eyes still fluctuating. So many emotions. Unbearable emotions. He pushes himself off the bed, slumping over to the dresser.

You are my sunshine…

He picks up the pill bottle, his hands shaky.
My only sunshine…. You make me happy…

He takes about half the bottle, shoving it desperately down his throat in hopes of getting rid of the emotions.

when the skies are gray… you’ll never know dear…

He lays down on his back on his bed. He feels them start to take effect, rushing through his system. The edges of his vision blurs.

how much I love you…

so please don’t take my sunshine-…

He closes his eyes and the world goes dark.

away…

Let's get this party started 😈

Elsie wakes up.

She groans, unsure where she is, her vision slightly blurry.

After a few minutes her sight begins to clear and she can tell she is in some sort of empty room. She is lying on the floor in the center. The walls are made of some silver metal, but Elsie isn't sure what.

There is a small rectangular hole in one of the walls, about the size of a pizza box, four or five feet from the floor.

Elsie attempts to stand but falls to her knees as blood rushes to her head. After a few moments she is able to stand steadily.

She walks over to the hole and peers through. She can see some sort of hallway, and other similar holes line it.

Elsie resists the urge to scream. She was stuck in yet another prison.

Lilac's expression hardens. "Fine." She steps inside of the base and looks for the squirrel-thing, raising her quarterstaff.

Assah pushes past her, raising her own weapon.

Does lilac have any team member that share the base

Quill looked over and saw someone calling to her. Quill couldn't make out the words though.

"Oi! Come with us if you want to live!" Quill, not making sure the person followed made her way to the shelter, finding Rask inside.

"I recovered this. Arc is dead. He sacrificed himself for us to live."

Callie's light cackling echoed through the halls. She remained hidden, and her purple eye watched Saffron's prison carefully.

"Good morning, sunshine," She muttered under her breath, smiling. Not that Saffron could hear her. Elsie was awake, it seemed.
