"I'm going to try and get you out." Wisps of light rose around him, then shifted to a violet, calling on Malum's old nature to enable destruction. He didn't like the way it made that strange pressure shift, as though pushing him further towards the tendencies of the evil god.

It didn’t work until a hand grabbed his ankle and pulled him under the dirt. She grabbed his wrist, towing him through the sediment like it wasn’t there, until they popped out in an empty hallway.

He lost his balance and tumbled to the ground after getting pulled through. "Ow." The violet light was still rising from his body.
