Rolen, healed, rested, and hungry, goes to find something to hunt, attaching his illusion to the hut so no one can see it from far away. He takes a couple of gemstones and goes into the chasms.

Ninddle also goes hunting (after realizing that nobodies had any food besides Rolens soup and Sharp and Kelni's bread), bringing his pouch of gemstones refilled in the storm.

Rolen eats them and takes the extra back to his hut. He also breaths in a little Stormlight to heal  from any diseases he might have gotten from the meat.

The strange mutant creature reacts oddly. Some of its tentacles don't even notice the shardblade, while others it cuts through like butter. The creature gargles again.

It has a massive beak, several dozen ears, a really really really long tongue, and like 3 eyes. You get a solid hit in one of the eyes and it gurgles furiously, slapping at you with a tentacle.
