Amyra was so nice in the beginning, being all soothing and nice to Cassian. But now she is trying to commit cold-blooded heartless murder or something on a little defenseless child.

Y’all I’m such a great story teller, I put my tears into this for you.
(We knew we were going to throw Cassy in from day 1 *cackle* I HAD TO BUILD THE LITTLE PUMPKIN PIE UP KNOWING THAT-)

Edit: I’m joking about the great story teller part, the rest it true :P

alright guys its here

drumroll please....

This is the only way.

It may not be right, but all sense of right and wrong has long since been obscured.

That boy...

He would drag her down.

He would drag everyone down.

He would drag himself down, if he could.

But something about him... reminded her of home.

No.

I have to go through with this.

I can't protect him.

I can't protect anyone.

This is the only way.

She closes her eyes and slices the blade around, pointing the tip to his throat.

But something about his squeal.

His cry.

She couldn't bring herself to do it.

She wasn't a good Windrunner.

But she wasn't a bad enough Windrunner to be a cold-blooded assassin.

What was she?

She leaned down and whispered something inaudible to Cassian, tears streaming down her cheeks. He nodded.

She looked away, and slit his neck.

What did you do? Aerie's voice echoed in her mind, gone from all traces of sarcasm. True horror. True shock.

What had she become?

Before she ran off to the shadows of the chasms, she paused to toss back a sunflower from her pocket.

There was something of a bitter, knowing smile before she escaped, leaving the body of the boy.

Yeah, we…we’ve been planning this since before you even knew Cassy existed.

Storms Lotus. I’m not crying. Nope.

Alright, time for that alliance where we all kill Amyra, break through the forcefield and then hunt down the gamemakers who did this. (Jk, unless y'all actually want to)

Amyra had no where to go.

No where to hide.

No where to run from her problems, like she'd done countless times before.

She only could confront them all, in a fit of rage, all charging at her from different directions.

They echoed in her mind.

What have you done? What have you done? What have you done?

Well, she'd done her best.

So she stood firm, and drew her shardblade.

Aerie, she pleaded, I need you to forgive me.

xD you can try. I won’t stop you. (Eddie might, but I won’t.)

Eddie watches on a screen in the starship above, a small smile on her face as she watches Amyra. That, she thinks, is my daughter. A child from my own district, a child who’s grown up in my house, my arena, my games. This is why I live.

Sage swung his sword at Amyra's head.

Amyra ducked immediately, her anger accelerating.

She had no training for this moment.

She had no lessons.

But she felt it, in her soul.

In her bones.

She had to fight.

She had to win.

She had to kill.

She wouldn't go down like this.

But if she did, at least she would go down with honor.

Honor.

She scoffed.
