"Oh. Great." Zodiac's arm reached out into a twisted vine, wrapping about the doppleganger and squeezing its innards out in a burst of purple goop. "And yes; you've only been here three weeks. Get used to it."

The voice of second spoke into Zodiac's mind, bypassing every defense that there might be.

"The one who screams," the voice of Second spoke, "The one who runs. The one who... hides in a forest with a bag?"

Their tone switched to a genuine amused tone. "I hate people like you. String users, people behind the show. And I know who you are, hiding behind that screen. And people who watch. I would much rather watch you suffer now, but that would be feigning ignorance."

A snap in the real world brought back those who were reading this post. Zodiac was suspended by strings, entagling him but extremely resiliant to cutting."Zodiac, was it?" The second said, "Well, you'll be a great actor."

"Feigned ignorance," the Second continued, "Is by far THE WORST act you could do here."

The Keynote Needle weapon Second was holding cut through the strings holding Zodiac, making him fall to the ground. Second held on to it like a soldier with a gun. With great care but deep knowing.

"Show me what you're made of, Zodiac." Second said, then charged at Zodiac with unusual speed.

"Oh, goodness. That would take way too long. I mean... you're like a body double, right? Does that mean you know your own chemical structure?"

They were holding Second's core now - it was a strange mixture of old heart tissue, dark red metal, seeping oil, gleaming blue vapors... it dripped down across their hand like an ooze. When Zodiac had collected it was unclear.

"Well, I do. I'd be fine without a core for a little while, but I dunno about you. Did you know that without exposure to energy, organic tissue will cannibalize itself in a chaotic frenzy for survival? All corpses become cancerous, before the tumors die off as well, unable to maintain their shape... and thus the cycle continues. Sometimes bacteria or amoebae or fungus will conquer the remaining energy supply for a time, but sooner or later the body is gone."

There was an odd twinkle in their eye. Probably because Penn had doodled it there.

"Yours happens to be quite demanding."

"Hm? A core?" Second made this laughing sound. "I don't have one. So either that is fake, or that is your own core."

Second gestured to the skies above. "I am a puppet. I get my energy externally."

Second looked at Zodiac, then said, "I think you should put your heart back in. After all, you could survive without it. But it wouldn't be pleasant. Microorganisms can inhabit it, causing major damage to organ functions. Energy, when uncontained can split off and form subfaults, or subschisms, where it devours physical space to crease a slash fold universe. In the end, a puppet's corpse is negilable compared to the slow deterioration of that organic shell of yours."

sleeper finally wakes up, slaps his double, stabs it, then goest straight back to sleep.

he's waiting for the next thing to pop up.

But the second raises up a hand to stop that before it happens. Despite the shovel hitting second, he didn't take any noticable knockback.
