SHARD NUKES

They could be using anti towerlight and the stormfather in some way im just trying to figure it out

How about two gems, one with Anti-Stormlight and other with Stormlight, connected via Raysium wire. A Windrunner just flies and drops it on a target. A wire isn't touching one of the gems yet, because a Windrunner applied a Full Lasing on it, sticking it to some plate above the gem. The Lasing is calculated to last very specific time, so when the bomb get close to the ground, it runs out, the wire falls onto the gem, where another Full Lasing is applied, this time lasting much more, and thus two gems get connected together via Raysium, a flow of investiture occurs, it mixes together in a gem and annihilate.

This would work with some smaller, mid-sized gems, not very small, but those can't be like the largest in use, because once investiture and anti-investiture start mixing, the time is limited before they start to react with each other and destroy gems. But even some medium sized gems can destroy a large swap of lands - anti-investiture is like anti-matter. It's basically 100% efficient, unlike fission/fusion bombs. Even a small amount of it can level a city.

Define "small amount" because there were two such explosions in RoW, and Urithiru is still standing. Two people died in the first explosion (RoW Ch 38), but nobody died in the second (mostly because it was a smaller gem and only Fused - who could heal - were present - Ch 97).

Not that small.1 kg of both matter and antimatter reacting has a yield of 43 Mt. For comparison a 1 Mt hydrogen warhead, carried by quite large and heavy bombs or missiles, converts only around 40 g of matter into that 1 Mt of energy. So just take investiture equivalent of 20 g of matter in one gem, and in the other have the same amount of anti-Investiture and you have a 1 Mt bomb. That kind of small. How big gems would need to be? I don't know, bigger than what was used in RoW, but likely far smaller than the actual 1 Mt hydrogen warhead.

I think the mass density of Light must be extremely low, much lower than any ambient-pressure gas, given the very small explosions in RoW. When Fused get stabbed with anti-Voidlight, they burn rather than detonate; it's probably containing the energy in a small gem that makes it explode.

one sphere of antivoidlight made an explosion to blow up a room that was medium sized. the average hotel room in the US is 28 square meters. perhaps the lab was that sized.

if so, then to blow up ottawa, which is 2780 km squared, it would take, around 100 million spheres of voidlight to destroy ottawa, including the fr outskirts. if I did the math right, which I probably didn't

Ideas discussed IRL: You could also take a shardblade, heat it to a very high temperature, and use the thing in the spoiler box. Or just drop a shardblade or preferably nightblood through a perpendicularity.

We don't know if Tellium would work in the same way for Shardblade as for Harmonium. It might not work like that because Harmonium is unstable, Shardblades are not.
