She couldn't be seen, but slipping right past the officer's gaze felt uncanny. Passing through the washroom door confused him a little, but he seemed to ultimately pass it off as a sensor malfunction.

"Kay," Ayia whispered, still out of sight from the officers. "Drop it now."

The communicators she uses aren't quite so susceptible to "oh noes everyone can hear my secret plans"

"Aiya? Hello? How is things doing? Say literally anything! Please!" Strohger yelled through the communicator

Ayia became visible. "Should I be visible? Should we have disguises?" His voice was clear, but no one other than Ayia could hear it.

"Nono. You stay hidden."

Ayia waited for the officer to exit the loo by putting on a little hunch, leaning against the sink, and dropping her eyelids a little. She muted the communicator as the idiot prisoner apparently started yelling through it. There was still a little bit of blood across her shirt: a little dry for her tastes, but it would do. She stuck a knuckle into her nostril to complete the look.

The officer exited the loo, immediately catching Ayia's gaze, but ultimately dismissing her and moving to the sink.

"'Scuse me..." Ayia put on a bit of a falsetto. "D'you have... any napkins?"

"Do I..." She looked up, finally recognizing what situation Ayia was presumably in. "Oh, sure! Yeah, lemme just..."

The officer leaned down to pull up her satchel and start rummaging through it - just in time for Ayia to dart forwards with a tiny syringe and jam it into the officer's neck. It knocked her out instantly - and thank gods, too. For a moment there Ayia had worried it wouldn't work on their biology.

She turned the communicator back on. "Shut up, idiot. We're in a damn stealth operation here. Variance, can you change my voice?"

"Oh, um, yeah. And you'll want me to change your appearance, too?"

"Great minds think alike. Give me just a minute..." Ayia dragged the body into the stall to swap outfits - half to ease the strain on Variance, and half because she quite liked the particular shade of green that she was wearing. Besides, she hadn't been able to actually change in ages.

"You have Variance. You should be fine. Now did you pick up the weapons?"

"Oh yeah and can you grab food as well? There is nothing in this stupid spacecraft to eat thats good. I swear!"

"You've been in there for a dozen bloody minutes, and I only just untied you. How have you already gone through Allera's refrigerator?" Ayia was having some trouble with the boots, grunting a little as she tried to lace them up properly. "And no, I haven't. Why do you want a weapon so badly? You are aware of how quick I could knock you unconscious, right? You wouldn't even get the safety off before we dropped you out the airlock."

"If that's temporary, won't we have a problem when she wakes up?" Variance asked.

Ayia's form changed to match the other woman's perfectly, and she she spoke, her voice was not her own.

"Well..." Damn. That magic worked a treat. She almost tried to deepen her voice a little by reflex. "It'll last about an hour or two. Plenty of time for us to get the others aboard - and by the time she gets up, we'll probably have bigger problems to worry about."

"The stupid ship i'm standing on has basically negative weapons! I don't know if you've even thought of this but your beorin friends are gonna absolutely destroy you even if you have a baton. So please just get some bloody weapons. "

"People shooting missiles at us as we soar triumphantly through the portal, obviously." Ayia stepped out of the stall, now fully geared out in Officer... (she checked the badge)... Kia Vinder's uniform. It was a bit tight around the chest and waist, but at least the hat fit well. "And I could totally take out this ship if I needed to. It would just take a few hours and I'd have to blow some stuff up. And besides - an energy rifle isn't going to do jack diddly squat for you if we're all being shot at."

"Just go... reunite with your partner over there. I guess there isn't all that much I can do now, unless you've got an idea."

"Why don't we rig the place to blow; the engine rooms would be great for that and sneak out admist the chaos? Also can I just please have a weapon so that way I can at least try to fight the beorin?"

"We're going to avoid fighting the Beorin soldiers as much as possible." Ayia checked her reflection in the mirror. "As for blowing stuff up - I'm good with that. But it's only secondary to getting you guys through that portal and to someplace safe."

She exited the washroom to return to her disguise's companion: Officer Tio Zexrex, according to his badge. "Sorry, that took longer than I expected."

"It's fine." He led them back to the transmissions room, even being so thoughtful as to hold the door open for her once it was open - Variance's illusion would still probably hold up for retinal scans, but that was still a lucky twist of fate.

There were only seven monitors in what was basically a glorified closet: six for the officers, one for the guy in charge of them. A few of them glanced up from their headsets, which Ayia was pretty sure was against protocol, but she guessed there really weren't many transmissions to monitor from here at any given time. She slid into her desk and put the headset over one ear for now, leaning down to keep talking through the communicator.

"Al, what signals does that ship of yours use?"

[Great houses lol

Alleras ship has no transponders; it was mentioned a while ago.

Whether strohger gets powers or not will be up to a coin toss

Also strohgers holding the communicator]

"I'm not al, don't ask me, but if I had to guess it would be none. And please get me lunch. I'm STARVING. And please get me a weapon. Or just blow things up."

... [I assume that the portal leaks radiation. Wouldn't the massive ships be leaking radiation as well? like  A lot of it? And how would you even know what radiation your own ship gave off? Like do you know what radiation frequency your device gives off? No. Allera isn't likely to know what radiation their ship gives off, especially since its damaged slightly, it would be inaccurate.]

Allera's refrigerator

Allera defs doesn’t have a refrigerator :P

Allera grabbed a strip of dried meat from the rack by their bed, waving it in Strohger’s face.

Variance isn't covering anything on the ship at this point. Too far away.
