Dr. Strohger decided he will attack the ship. so he did. He made  sure to kick them out of hyperspace and into some random territorial space before delivering his catchphrase to the ship via com link. "Is there any reason I shouldnt kill you right now?" Dr. Strohger asked. It was a retorhical question. He wasnt actually gonna kill them.

They could try to run, but by now he had three trackers on their ship, so it wasn't like they were getting very far.
