You see no mention of them in the book. Based on the discussion in the thread the book seems to take place way after he made the bond so did he lose Design maybe during the events of Stormlight 5?

AltonicKeys he/him Posted April 18, 2023 Posted April 18, 2023 In SP3, Yumi and the Nightmare Painter, Hoid was with Design on a different shardworld. So he found a way to keep the bond somehow. But yeah, he may have just lost it.
