By your reasoning, he wants to be alone, out on the streets, and that hardly seems right."

Nath vanishes faster than thought and reappears beside the metal handed man with a glowing katana of light in his hand. It is casually pressed against his throat. "Release him or I assure you that you will die where you stand."

"I assure you, friend," he said calmly, "that I act in the best interest of the boy. He was about to run out onto the street, where he would no longer have any sort of protection. I was merely avoiding that. Would you like to continue our little test?"
Channelknight Fadran Posted January 5, 2023 Author Posted January 5, 2023 Fadran was over by the invader in seconds. “Let go of him.” His words were steady and hard - like a blade.

Nath sees the frost and his eyes take on a hard look. He grabs the man with his free hand and hefts him into the air. " Enough of these games." The man's hands begin to glow white hot. "Free him or burn."
The Bookwyrm he/him Posted January 5, 2023 Posted January 5, 2023 (edited) Bookwyrm arrived in the room and studied the escalated situation. Tacien has that frost growing on him...would Nightfire melt it off? Nath seems to have the strange man in control. Fadran is beside Nath...and Marilyn is next to Tacien. Bookwyrm dashed across the room and crouched near Tacien, but didn't take action yet. He clenched his staff in his hand and rested the other on the hilt of his sword. Let me know if I can help in any way, Bookwyrm mentally sent to Fadran. @Channelknight Fadran Edited January 5, 2023 by The Bookwyrm
Channelknight Fadran Posted January 5, 2023 Author Posted January 5, 2023 Quote Oh, how I’ve missed this absolute mess of characters doing different scud all at the same time 1

Quote I don't know if Nath should be able to do that with the hands, since they are imbued with ice magic.

Nath has a total mastery over heat that includes adding it or removing until well past absolute zero.

It was freaking her out. But Fadran was in charge her so she decided to wait before doing something that would probably end up being a really bad decision.
The Bookwyrm he/him Posted January 5, 2023 Posted January 5, 2023 Bookwyrm watched as the frost slowly crawled over Tacien. I should be able to stop it. But I can't risk it. He forced himself to hold back any of his powers.
Nathrangking he/him Posted January 5, 2023 Posted January 5, 2023 (edited) Quote That works. He can still make them and the rest of him impossibly hot. "Protect him? You think that you can't do that here? Curious indeed." The heat begins to spread violently across his body. @The Aspiring Archivist Edited January 5, 2023 by Nathrangking
