CMac716 Posted December 10, 2022 Posted December 10, 2022 So TLM gave us some interesting throwables in the form of time bubbles, are we gonna get some hand held nukes from SA? 2 gemstones rigged to break after the pin is pulled. One with stormlight the other with anti light. Maybe put it in a little ball to be lashed a few times at the nearest enemy planet?
Frustration Posted December 10, 2022 Posted December 10, 2022 We don't have confirmation, but I would be stunned silent if we didn't.
CMac716 Posted December 10, 2022 Author Posted December 10, 2022 Do you think they could load a gemstone with anti investiture of another shard and use it to severely damage them by releasing it in their perpindicularity? I can't help but think the future of the cosmere is gonna be a war against the shards themselves. They all seem to be intentionally bad or simply so incompetent they might as well be

Like it would require gems larger than continents to cause a shard real danger. 1
CMac716 Posted December 11, 2022 Author Posted December 11, 2022 Some more ideas for grenades: Awakened clusterbombs filled like a barrel of monkeys with mini lifeless. Fabrial grenades that pulls all the oxygen to them. Assuming they figure out surge fabrials soon, we could get anti grav grenades, healing grenades, maybe you could throw people into shadesmar with transportation grenades.

This is my favorite. Can you imagine the absolute devestation? "Alright men, chaaaaa-" *Gets zapped to the cognitive realm* I mean, obviously the surge of Division would make the most effective grenade but... that's kind of nasty. Wait. Abrasion grenade. Throw that in there and get them slippidy sliding all over the place. Mwahahahahaha 1
StanLemon Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 (edited) Two things, one, the size of the explosion is relative to the amount of Light used and that is dependent on the size of the gemstone. An explosion from a gem larger than a broam but small enough to fit into the hilt of a dagger wasn't enough to destroy a room or even kill someone who was a few feet away. Secondly, Rayseium is still needed and even the Fused admit it is hard to acquire. So handheld ones are not likely to be seen anytime soon, there are just more practical weapons to use still Edited January 11, 2023 by StanLemon
IlstrawberrySeed Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 As for the purpendicularity thing, a whole shard's investiture would be needed to be converted into anti-investiture in order to anyalate them.

No, just half of Shard's investiture, it would react with the other half and annihilate completely. Like matter anti-matter reaction. But to harm it severely or maybe even splinter it, even less than half be enough, which is still an insanely large amount of anti-investiture. Shards hold near infinite power. So what is half of infinity? But just to collapse perpendicularity, if Nightblood could do it, then enough anti-investiture could also collapse it, without harming any Shard however.

Well that's only one of the gems, it reacted with another one, and that one wasn't full.
IlstrawberrySeed Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 The question sounded like if you used other shard's investiture.
