Also we know that self-perception is important. If you were deluded enough(or lock those memories away in copper?) it is possible that you might believe you couldn't do it, and therefore could not. Is the chance of this slim? Yeah but I could see it working along those lines.

I wonder if Wayne snapped again (first time?) at the end of Bands? When Wax died Wayne went full crazy. To me that looks a lot like a  snapping and reminds me a lot of what happened with Kelsier and Kelsier's wife. 

We know changes were made to how snapping works, but we haven't actually seen a snap  occur as far as I can tell, right? Maybe in this new world it is easier to get a single power without a snap needed, but snapping is still required to make a full Mistborn? Or even maybe Feruchemist now?

I honestly think that this is my favorite theory that I have ever come across, true or not.

If it is true, then Wayne may know that the is a full feruchemist, but have such emotional trauma linked with that to make him abandon it or something, kind of like Shallan
