You are in the DMZ, between South and North Korea. You dive into the hole and set off a landmine. The explosion rockets you back to the States and sends Vyz to Mongolia, and the sandwich is unmoved. I, treading lightly and only slightly injured by the shrapnel, venture into the now-embiggened landmine crater hole and grab the sandwich.

Because the Khan is a friend of mine, Vyz finds the Mongol horde behind him. I happen to be in Mongolia also, and enlist the help of the Mongols to take back the Sandwich. The DMZ is overrun with throat-singing horse archers, and in no time the Sandwich lies in my hands as we return victoriously to Xanadu.
