Little brothers are all happy and it's adorable. I mean, there are cupcake pieces all over the floor, frosting is caked on their faces, and the sprinkles are falling like snow, but at least they're happy. I have too much homework to care about how much foodstuffs they waste.

You know what's totally unfair? My parental unit blocked youtube and similar things on all devices I have access to, which would be fine, but apparently Potato has access to youtube on her computer. Yeah, I get it Mom. You're not-so-subtly trying to tell me that I'm less trustworthy. Apparently the thirteen year old is soo much more trustworthy than me. It's not like I need youtube or social media. What would I even do with it, watch funny cat videos?

I feel that. My siblings never had to deal with spanking, time-out corners, and other things like that, but they get to do everything I've just earned the privilege of doing YEARS IN ADVANCE just because it would be 'unfair' to let me do those things. Don't get me wrong, I love my sibs to death, but my dorkish sense of injustice gets so fired up about these things. I wasn't allowed to read the last two harry potter books or anything YA until I was twelve, and my 11 year old sister is actually being pushed to read the entire stormlight series (she just finished the harry potter series)

While I do agree that my younger siblings definitely can get away with a whole bunch more stuff than myself, my parents are very respecting of my privacy, and since I like being private, it's a good trade off. Sometimes though it's annoying. Like when my little siblings misbehave in family scriptures. If I'd acted like they do I would have been in really big trouble. My parents also say I'm on screens too much. When I was my little siblings age I maybe got to watch shows and stuff for an hour a day. My little brothers and sisters get quite a bit more than that.

I don't know. I keep to myself a lot of the time.

That's not strange at all. Children will do as they wish. Until they hurt themselves or get in trouble.
